As previously announced, Broadway veteran and GLEE star Jonathan Groff will star opposite original cast member Alfred Molina in the Los Angeles premiere of RED at the Mark Taper Forum. Groff will play Ken (orignally played by Tony winner Eddie Redmayne) in the play, alongside Molina who reprises his Tony-nominated role as Mark Rothko. The production will run August 1- September 9. Michael Grandage directs.

Potted Potter: The Unauthorized Harry Experience - A Parody by Dan and Jeff (All Seven Harry Potter Books in 70 Hilarious Minutes) has played to sold-out houses in Toronto, London, Edinburgh, Australia and New Zealand, and made its US debut on May 19, 2012 at the Little Shubert Theatre. The limited engagement opened on June 3, 2012 and runs through August 12, 2012. Bullet for Adolf, a new comedy by Woody Harrelson and Frankie Hyman, will receive its American premiere this summer. Directed by Harrelson (Academy Award® nominee - The Messenger, The People vs. Larry Flynt), performances will begin Thursday, July 19, 2012 at New World Stages in anticipation of an official opening on August 8, 2012. On Monday, June 25th, The Trevor Project honored Academy Award® winner, Susan Sarandon with the Trevor Hero Award, presented by Stanley Tucci. President of MTV, Stephen Friedman also was hand to accept the Trevor 2020 Award for MTV at "Trevor Live" in New York. This high-profile annual event benefits the life-saving, life-affirming work of The Trevor Project, providing crisis intervention and suicide prevention services to lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and questioning (LGBTQ) teens and young adults. The show was directed by Tony Award® winner, Michael Mayer. On hand to celebrate were Stanley Tucci, Debra Messing and Eric McCormack, Anthony Rapp, Thomas Roberts, and many more. Last night, June 19, BLOODY BLOODY ANDREW JACKSON alum Benjamin Walker visited The Late Show with David Letterman to promote his new film, ABRAHAM LINCOLN: VAMPIRE HUNTER. The thriller is set to open in theaters on June 22nd from 20th Century Fox. The film, directed by Timur Bekmambetov, also stars Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Dominic Cooper, Rufus Sewell, Alan Tudyk, Anthony Mackie, Jimmi Simpson, Jaqueline Fleming and Robin McLeavy.

Zarkana, the surreal acrobatic spectacle by Cirque du Soleil, has returned to New York at the legendary Radio City Music Hall for a limited engagement through Sunday, September 2 only. Performances began June 6. This week, BroadwayWorld was invited to Radio City for an exclusive backstage tour with the cast and creative team.
