Bernadette Peters stopped by this morning's TODAY to talk about starring in Amazon's new series 'Mozart in the Jungle,' which chronicles the ego-fueled classical music scene in New York City.

Amazon will premiere all ten episodes of the highly-anticipated dramatic comedy series MOZART IN THE JUNGLE on Tuesday, December 23 on Prime Instant Video in the US, UK and Germany.

Pump Boys and Dinettes, the final production of the 2014 Encores! Off-Center series, stars Jordan Dean, Hunter Foster, Mamie Parris, Randy Redd, Katie Thompson and Lorenzo Wolff. Pump Boys, running today, July 16, through the 19th, is directed by Lear deBessonet and choreographed by Danny Mefford. Jeanine Tesori is the Encores! Nothing Like a Dame: Conversations with the Great Women of Musical Theater, a new book by Eddie Shapiro featuring interviews with 20 female musical theatre stars, launched earlier this week at the headquarters of Oxford University Press at 198 Madison Avenue. The 24th Annual GYPSY OF THE YEAR Competition, the culminating celebration of six weeks of fundraising by 51 participating Broadway, Off-Broadway and national touring companies, raised $3,902,608 for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS. This year's event featured a tribute to legendary lyricist Fred Ebb, led by Tony Award winners David Hyde Pierce and Debra Monk, and you can check out the performance below.
