He was again a Tony nominee for his portrayal of Barry Champlain in the 2007 Broadway revival of Eric Bogosian's "Talk Radio", directed by Robert Falls, Other stage work includes The Public Theater's Shakespeare in the Park production of "Macbeth", in the lead role opposite Jennifer Ehle, directed by Moises Kaufman; "Iago"; "Hamlet"; "Henry the V"; and "Cymbeline".

The box office opened yesterday for the Broadway revival of GLENGARRY GLEN ROSS at the Gerald Schoenfeld Theatre on Tuesday, September 18th at 10am. GLENGARRY GLEN ROSS will begin its limited run with previews on Tuesday, October 16th and an official opening on Sunday, November 11. Happy Birthday David Alan Grier! Grier began his professional career on Broadway as Jackie Robinson in The First, for which he earned a Tony Award nomination for Best Featured Actor in a Musical and won the Theatre World Award. He then joined the cast of Dreamgirls before going on to star opposite Denzel Washington in A Soldier's Play, for which both actors reprised their roles in the film adaptation titled A Soldier's Story. Recently was seen in David Mamet's Race on Broadway and received his second Tony Award nomination. He is currently starring on Broadway in Porgy and Bess.
