STAGE TUBE: Zak Resnick & Jessica Vosk Team Up on WAITRESS' 'You Matter to Me'

Fans have to wait another two months to see WAITRESS on stage, but an MLK Day treat has just arrived from some Broadway veterans. Tony winner Jessie Mueller is gearing up for her next Broadway role in Waitress, which opens on Sunday, April 24, 2016 at the Brooks Atkinson Theatre (256 West 47th Street, between Broadway and Eighth Avenue). Waitress played a sold out limited engagement at the American Repertory Theater (A.R.T.) at Harvard University in Cambridge, MA. Second Stage Theatre will present the world premiere production of INVISIBLE THREAD, a new musical by Matt Gould and Griffin Matthews, in association with American Repertory Theater, directed by Tony Award winner Diane Paulus (Finding Neverland, Pippin). INVISIBLE THREAD will begin previews on Saturday, October 31st at Second Stage's Tony Kiser Theatre (305 West 43rd street). Opening night is scheduled for Wednesday, December 2nd. STAGE TUBE: Second Stage's INVISIBLE THREAD Unveils 'Beautiful' Music Video, Filmed in Uganda

The cast of Second Stage's upcoming world premiere production of INVISIBLE THREAD, a new musical by Matt Gould and Griffin Matthews, in association with American Repertory Theater, directed by Tony Award winner Diane Paulus (Finding Neverland, Pippin), visited Uganda to meet the people who inspired the story. While they were there, they shot a music video for the song 'Beautiful' from the show. Check it out below!

STAGE TUBE: The Cast of Off-Broadway-Bound INVISIBLE THREAD Will Travel to Uganda

Matt Gould and Griffin Matthews' INVISIBLE THREAD, formerly titled WITNESS UGANDA, is headed on the trip of a lifetime before it lands back in the States for its off-Broadway premiere at Second Stage this fall. The cast has surpassed its $45,000 crowdfunding goal and will be traveling to Uganda to connect with the students that inspired the show.
