HBO Entertainment has given a third season commitment of 12 episodes for its popular, award-winning series GIRLS. The premiere episode of the second season has already exceeded a gross audience of 3.8 million viewers with only partial data available.
Variety reports that the award winning HBO series GIRLS has been renewerd for a third season. The news was revealed by the show's star and executive producer Lena Dunham on a podcast earlier in the week. Said the recent Golden Globe winning actress, 'We're starting season three at the end of March. I'm so excited.'
