Tonight, May 30 at 4pm the stars of The Media Theatre's recent 'Ghost: The Musical', Anna Giordano and Zack Krajnyak, will be featured in the 'Electric Cabaret'. Born out of a young teen's vision to give back to the theatre he loves so dearly, the 'Electric Cabaret' is happening at his own home.

Saturday May 30 at 4pm the stars of The Media Theatre's recent 'Ghost: The Musical', Anna Giordano and Zack Krajnyak, will be featured in the 'Electric Cabaret'. Born out of a young teen's vision to give back to the theatre he loves so dearly, the 'Electric Cabaret' is happening at his own home.

The region's professional premiere of 'Ghost: The Musical' is happening now through March 29 at The Media Theatre. It's directed by two-time Broadway World Award winner Jesse Cline with costumes by Katie Yamaguchi, lights by Troy Martin O' Shia, set design by Matthew Miller, sound by Carl Park, music direction by Christopher Ertelt, and choreography by Dann Dunn. Monsterpiece Theater Collective's Importance of Being Earnest interprets Oscar Wilde's classic with a jazzy New Orleans flair. Starting our journey in turn of the century New Orleans we combine the music and rich heritage of the south and the posh facade of English society. Using the poetry of John Gambril Nicholson, a contemporary of Wilde and author of the poem (of Boy's Names) that inspired the title of this classic, the Monsterpiece Collective has created a musical world of original songs and Dixieland jazz standards. Moving from drawing rooms and countryside gardens to honky tonks and plantations we enjoy the sharp wit and acid tongue that can only be found two places, Wilde's characters and the most charming southern homes.

Players' Shakespeare: Onstage is proud to present William Shakespeare's The Merchant of Venice which will open July 18th and run through August 4th. Dominic Cuskern(Inherit the Wind, A Perfect Ganesh), Broadway veteran and long-standing member of the Pearl Theatre Resident Acting Company, stars as Shylock. Returning to Gallery, David Patrick Ford (Macbeth, Othello) will play Antonio opposite Cuskern. Gallery President and admired Director Mark Harborth (Noises Off, Chess, Othello, Dreamgirls) will again direct. Bringing the play to life under Harborth's direction are Lighting Designer Scott A. Calley, Sound Designer Jacob Subotnick, Costume Designer/Asst. Director Sidney Fortner, Stage Manager Becky J. Doster and Producer Frankie Dailey. The cast will include Erin Beirnard as Portia, Hunter Hoffman as Bassanio, Louis Lavoie as Launcelot, as well as J.B. Alexander, Kevin Blackwelder, Colin Dweir, Cara Farlow, Jonathan Green, Luke Hofmaier, Mark Kinch, Zack Krajnyak, Chris Richards, Louise Stewart.

Performances will take place at 7:30 pm on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, as well as 3:00 pm on Sunday. Tickets are $18 for Adults, $14 for senior citizens and children 12 and under. The Gallery Players will also host a 'Pay What You Can' night on Monday, July 22nd at 7:30 pm.
