West End's LEGALLY BLONDE Begins Previews Tonight, 12/5

Peter Davison and Jill Halfpenny are to join Sheridan Smith, Duncan James, Alex Gaumond, Aoife Mulholland and Susan McFadden in Jerry Mitchell?s Legally Blonde The Musical which will preview at the Savoy Theatre from 5 December 2009. Currently booking until 23 May 2010, Legally Blonde The Musical has now added Sunday performances to its schedules. Directed and choreographed by Tony Award-winning Jerry Mitchell, Legally Blonde The Musical has music and lyrics by Laurence O?Keefe and Nell Benjamin, book by Heather Hach, set design by David Rockwell, costume design by Gregg Barnes, lighting design by Kenneth Posner and Paul Miller, sound design by ACME Sound Partners and orchestrations by Christopher Jahnke.

Horwood's HOT MIKADO Hits London in September

After a sell-out run at the Watermill Theatre in Newbury in 2006, Craig Revel Horwood's actor-musician production of The Hot Mikado is back on the road and will hit London in September, when it will play at the Rose Theatre, Kingston from the 22nd to the 26th.

MARRIED ALIVE! Plays The Actors' Playhouse At The Miracle Theatre Thru 8/16

Laughter was certainly in the air on Friday night, as was generosity at the opening of the new summer musical comedy, Married ALIVE! at Actors' Playhouse at the Miracle Theatre in downtown Coral Gables. Audiences were treated to a riotous musical about the mayhems of matrimony in the upstairs balcony theatre while Actors' Playhouse received a special gift from long-time sponsor American Express, a $20,000 check in support of the Theatre.

TOO TRUE TO BE GOOD Begins September 1 At The Finborough

JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR, the first masterpiece from the legendary writing team of Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd Webber, is to have a new big screen transfer. According to the Risky Biz blog, Universal Pictures is keen to follow-up the phenomenal success of last year's 'Mamma Mia!' film, and is turning to 'Superstar' to make that happen.
