Theater Resources Unlimited (TRU) is pleased to announce the winning selections of the 2009 TRU Voices New Musicals Reading Series. In a series that is unique because it develops new producers as well as new musicals, three works were chosen from submissions by emerging or established producers, as well as writers. Complete casting has been announced for the upcoming production of THE VELVET ORATORIO by the Untitled Theatre Company #61. The cast will include Craig Anderson, Timothy Babcock, Danny Bowes, Peter Brown, Jonathan Farmer, Joe Gately, Josh Hartung, Saysha Heinzman, Eric Oleson, Yvonne Roen, and Tony Torn, along with members of the Choir of Saint Mary the Virgin Times Square. The show features a book by Edward Einhorn with music and direction by Henry Akona.
