Wimberley Players to Present YOUNG FRANKENSTEIN, 9/12-10/5

When the Wimberley Players stage The New Mel Brooks Musical Young Frankenstein, September 12 - October 5, audiences can expect packed houses and a hilarious good time as only Mel Brooks can deliver. A spoof of classic horror films of the '30s and '40s (as seen in the 1974 movie of the same name), it is a rowdy, "bawd-villian" frolic of the Frankenstein story in the best tradition of Borscht-Belt comedy.

Rover Dramaworks to Close Season with SHERLOCK HOLMES AND THE CASE OF THE JERSEY LILY, 9/11-10/4

Rover Dramawerks will conclude their 14th Season with the regional premiere of the mystery/comedy Sherlock Holmes and the Case of the Jersey Lily by Katie Forgette at their new theatre venue in Plano, located in Ruisseau Village at 221 W. Parker Rd, Suite 580, at the northwest corner of Parker and 75. Performances are September 11 - October 4, with shows on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays at 8:00 p.m., plus an additional matinee performance on Saturday, September 20 at 2:00 p.m.

Michael Morpurgo Comes the Colchester Mercury Stage with FRIEND OR FOE, Now thru Sept 13

Following on from last year's smash hit The Butterfly Lion, the Mercury Theatre Colchester will be producing another Michael Morpurgo classic this August with their Made in Colchester production of Friend or Foe. Opening at the Mercury today, August 29 and running until Saturday, September 13, Friend or Foe is a thrilling tale of extraordinary friendship which will appeal to adults and children alike.

STAGE TUBE: Signature Theatre's SUNDAY IN THE PARK WITH GEORGE Helps Children and Art

Signature Theatre presents Sunday in the Park with George, the Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award®-winning musical, directed by Signature Associate Artistic Director Matthew Gardiner(Signature's Dreamgirls, The Threepenny Opera). Running in the MAX Theatre August 15 - September 21, the Stephen Sondheim/James Lapine classic is the first production of Signature Theatre's 25th Anniversary. During their 2014 Summer Art Camp, Signature Theatre stopped by the classrooms to talk with the campers about the meaning of art as they gear up to celebrate their 30th anniversary of SUNDAY IN THE PARK WITH GEORGE. WE tv Orders New Series SEX BOX for 2015 Premiere

WE tv today announced the series greenlight of Sex Box for an early 2015 exclusive U.S. premiere. Produced by Relativity Television, and adapted from the UK series of the same name, Sex Box is an extreme therapy reality concept that lets couples discuss their relationship issues with a panel of experts and then retire to a camera-free, soundproof box on the show's set to have sex. They emerge to immediately discuss their experiences in the box and most intimate personal issues with the experts, as the cameras roll before a studio audience. The first season will feature nine, one-hour episodes.

Beijing Academy of Performing Arts kids theatre camp presented AROUND THE WORLD IN 80 DAYS on August 9, 2014. Thirty student actors, ages 6-14, performed the show.
