Today, theatrical charity Acting for Others announces initial participants in its 15th annual bucket collection. For two weeks, beginning today, 22 October, bucket collections will be held at the end of performances in almost every theatre across London and throughout the whole of the UK.
This November, Marc Pickering (Boardwalk Empire, HBO; Les Miserables, Universal Pictures; Sleepy Hollow, Paramount Pictures) will star as the mischievous Cat in the Hat in Immersion Theatre's larger-than-life musical extravaganza, Seussical the Musical. He is joined by Scott Paige (Eugenius, The Other Palace; The Addams Family, UK/Asia Tour; Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, UK Tour/West Yorkshire Playhouse) as the warm-hearted Horton the Elephant and Amy Perry (Bananaman, Southwark Playhouse, Thoroughly Modern Millie, Adelphi Theatre; Sweet Charity, Cadogan Hall) as the humble Gertrude McFuzz in this high-energy production for 'thinkers' of all ages.
Production images are today released for the world premiere of Vulcan 7, a new comedy written by and co-starring Adrian Edmondson and Nigel Planer, well known for the BRIT award-winning cult classic The Young Ones and The Comic Strip Presents… The cast is completed by Lois Chimimba (Common, wonder.land) with Steven Marmion directing.

Artistic Director of Deafinitely Theatre, Paula Garfield, directs Adam Bassett, Brian Duffy, Jim Fish and Matt Kyle. Opening at New Diorama Theatre on 21 September, with previews from 18 September and running until 13 October. The production then tours to Derby Theatre from 19 - 20 October.

Theatr Clwyd today announces full cast for its Christmas pantomime, Dick Whittington - The Purrrrrfect Rock 'N' Roll Panto. English Touring Theatre today announces full tour dates for Ned Bennett's bold new production of Peter Shaffer's critically-acclaimed classic, psychological thriller Equus in a co-production with Theatre Royal Stratford East. The production opens at Theatre Royal Stratford East on 21 February, with previews from 15 February and runs until 23 March. Following this it tours to Cambridge Arts Theatre, Theatre Royal Bath, Bristol Old Vic, The Lowry, Northern Stage and Yvonne Arnaud Theatre.

The ceremony took place at the Prince of Wales Theatre and was hosted by musical theatre star, Carl Mullaney. The awards celebrate the most supportive and successful fundraisers who have helped the charity raise in excess of £390,000 in the last twelve months.
