THE ART OF BUILDING A BUNKER, THE DAISY THEATRE and More Set for Factory Theatre's 45th Season

e Co-Artistic Director's Nina Lee Aquino and Nigel Shawn Williams, and Managing Director, Sara Meurling present the 45th season of Factory Theatre consisting of five Factory premieres: THE ART OF BUILDING A BUNKER, written by Adam Lazarus and Guillermo Verdecchia; TAKE ME BACK TO JEFFERSON an adaptation of William Faulkner's AS I LAY DYING by Dean Gilmour and Michele Smith in collaboration with the company; TWISTED, written by Charlotte Corbeil-Coleman and Joseph Jomo Pierre; THE UNPLUGGING written by Yvette Nolan; MORRO AND JASP: 9-5, created and performed by Morro and Jasp; and as a special add-on to the subscription season, the return of THE DAISY THEATRE, created and performed by Ronnie Burkett. Fifth Season of COMMUNITY Set for DVD Release on 8/5

Our favorite study group is back at Greendale Community College Aug. 5 when Sony Pictures Home Entertainment releases COMMUNITY: THE COMPLETE FIFTH SEASON on DVD. The fifth season reunites popular creator Dan Harmon with his funny and quick-witted ensemble cast. Led by Joel McHale (TV's “The Soup”), Community also stars Gillian Jacobs (TV's “The Good Wife”), Danny Pudi (TV's “Greek”), Yvette Nicole Brown (TV's “Rules of Engagement”), Alison Brie (TV's “Mad Men”), Donald Glover (TV's “Girls”), Ken Jeong (The Hangover Part III) and Academy Award® winner Jim Rash (Best Writing, Adapted Screenplay; The Descendants, 2011). In the fifth season, Greendale College is in a stage of transition with the addition of new teachers and new students. Paired with the original gang, the result is more off-kilter hijinks for every Community fan to enjoy.

BWW Previews: BY THE WAY, MEET VERA STARK Coming to the Unicorn Theatre in Kansas City, 6/4

The comedy about Hollywood stereotypes, By the Way, Meet Vera Stark comes to the Unicorn Theatre June 4, with opening night on June 7. Missy Koonce directs the Unicorn production written by Pulitzer Prize winning playwright Lynn Nottage. Nottage won the Pulitzer Prize for Drama in 2009 for her play Ruined. At the time, she wrote Ruined she was working on a second project, which ended up being By the Way, Meet Vera Stark.

But what his fans and family don't realize is that it's all a cover - in truth, he is a skilled covert operative executing missions for a little-known branch of the CIA. 'Matador' has the kind of fame and notoriety that affords him access to powerful circles of corruption and villainy. Cincinnati Shakespeare's THE TWO NOBLE KINSMEN Opens Tonight

This May, Cincinnati Shakespeare Company is proud to become one of the first five theaters in the United States to 'Complete the Canon' by producing all 38 plays by William Shakespeare. The final play needed to 'Complete the Canon' is William Shakespeare's 'The Two Noble Kinsmen', which CSC will open tonight, May 2, 2014. Alzheimer's Association Collaborates on New Chicken Soup for the Soul Book for Alzheimer's Disease and Other Dementias

CHICAGO, April 22, 2014 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ The Alzheimer's Association has collaborated with Chicken Soup for the Soul on a new book of personal stories and experiences called Chicken Soup for the Soul: Living with Alzheimer's & Other Dementias, available for purchase beginning today, April 22, in print and eBook format.
