Utter Launches New Company, Uranium Madhouse

Uranium Madhouse is ready to irradiate the Southern California theater scene. Theater director and acting teacher Andrew Utter announces the formation of his new Los Angeles theater company, Uranium Madhouse, inviting discerning theatergoers to "come in and melt down." Utter will act as Artistic Director and set designer Erik Flatmo has been named Resident Designer.

The Sheldon presents 'French Impressions' featuring Mark Sparks, flute, and Yolanda Kondonassis, harp, Wednesday, February 9, 2011 at 8 p.m. in the perfect acoustics of the Sheldon Concert Hall. Inspired by Monet's Water Lilies, a painting from the collection of the St. Louis Art Museum, symphony principal flutist Mark Sparks and internationally recognized harpist Yolanda Kondonassis perform beautiful French music by Saint-Saëns, Debussy, and Lili Boulanger. El elenco está formado por Julia Möller (La Bella y la Bestia, El Fantasma de la Ópera, Mar i Cel) que interpreta a Sheila, Joan Vázquez interpretando a Claude (Mamma Mia!), Jordi Coll (Fama) es Berger, Erika Bleda es Dionne, Marina Pastor (Fama) es Crissy, Chipper (Rent) en el papel de Hud, Momo Cortés (We Will Rock You, Judas El Musical) será Woof, Óscar Kapoya y Albert Estengre comparten el personaje de Oliver y Xavi Duch (Spamalot, 40 el Musical) interpreta el papel de Hubert.

Burning Coal Theatre Company, a small professional theatre based in Raleigh, North Carolina announces its upcoming production of Crowns by Regina Taylor, directed by Rebecca Holderness. The production will run December 2 - 19, 2010 at the Murphey School, 224 Polk Street, Raleigh. Performances are Thursdays through Saturdays at 7:30 p.m. and Sundays at 2 p.m. Tickets are $20 or $15 for students, seniors and active military. Thursday night tickets are $10 apiece. Student rush tickets are available at every performance for $5 apiece, availability pending.

BroadwayWorld Spain ha asistido hoy a los ensayos de la próxima producción de Hair en el Teatro Apolo de Barcelona que se estrenará el 22 de Diciembre en la Ciudad Condal. Dirigida por Daniel Anglès, el musical está protagonizado por Jordi Coll, Joan Vázquez y Julia Möller, entre otros.
