The 25th anniversary production of the world's longest-running musical, LES MISÉRABLES, premieres at the Buell Theatre August 30 - September 10.

Anne Hathaway was last associated with LES MISERABLES when she belted out her own version of 'Own My Own' at February's Oscar ceremony to past host Hugh Jackman. Now, BroadwayWorld.com's reliable sources tell us that at Jackman's pushing, she is now set to take on the role of Fantine in the eagerly anticipated film version of the epic musical.

Cameron Mackintosh and Broadway Grand Rapids today announced that the hugely acclaimed new 25th anniversary production of the World's Longest-Running Musical, Les Misérables, will premiere at DeVos Performance Hall on Tuesday, November 29 through Sunday, December 4, 2011. Deadline.com reports this morning that filming for Woverine 2, the sequel to the successful X Men franchise starring Hugh Jackman, may be pushed back to the spring of 2012 due to location scouting issues. The film had been tentatively scheduled to film in Japan this fall, however weather conditions have made securing locations difficult. The operation may now move to Canada instead.

truTV is putting the key in the ignition for California DMV: Field Offices (working title), the network's first project with Ashton Kutcher and Jason Goldberg's Katalyst, creator of the hit series Punk'd. The project takes viewers into the world of the California Department of Motor Vehicles. With unprecedented access to several offices and locations, California DMV: Field Offices will provide an eye-opening, behind-the-scenes look at hard-working personnel who deal with everything from issuing licenses and registering vehicles to maintaining accident records and investigating complaints.

Theatre Aspen's upcoming summer season, reported Artistic Director Paige Price. The award-winning regional theatre unveiled the brand new Hurst Theatre in Rio Grande Park on June 24th with two musicals and a comedy. The theatre's 28th season of summer repertory features the regional premiere of Becky's New Car, by native Coloradan Steven Dietz, starring Emmy- and Tony-nominee Sandy Duncan. Opening July 7th is the beloved musical Annie, by Thomas Meehan (book), Charles Strouse (music) and Martin Charnin (lyrics), and the new musical Vices: A Love Story, (story by Michael Heitzman & Ilene Reid, and music and lyrics by Susan Draus, Everett Bradley, Michael Heitzman and Ilene Reid). Billy Elliot the Musical today announced a new performance schedule. Beginning September 5, the show will now play Tuesday at 7pm, Thursday - Sunday at 7:30pm, Wednesday, Saturday & Sunday at 2pm; dark Mondays.

'Les Misérables' broke box office records at the Center Theatre Group/Ahmanson Theatre for the final four weeks of its run, beginning the week of July 4, 2011, and continuing through the closing week ending July 31. The closing week gross was $1,530,099, the highest for a single week in Ahmanson history.

After recording its best second quarter ever, Bravo Media announced it will increase its must watch original programming with three new series and three returning favorites. The new series include Around the World in 80 Plates (working title), a culinary competition following chefs as they compete in world-renowned restaurants around the globe, Paint the Town (working title), which gives viewers an exclusive look inside the lives of six 20-something women working in New York City's hippest art galleries and Newlyweds: The First Year (working title), a docu-series capturing six couples throughout their first year of marriage. The network will also air a special, Thicker Than Water: The Marinos, following the chaotic lives of a tight-knit, multi-generational family in New Jersey on Sunday, August 21 at 11p.m ET/PT.
