BroadwayWorld is excited to report the complete cast and creative team for The Old Globe's world premiere of Anna Ziegler's THE LAST MATCH, directed by Gaye Taylor Upchurch (who directed Bethany at the Globe in 2014).

Yale Repertory Theatre presents the world premiere of THE MOORS by Jen Silverman, directed by Jackson Gay, January 29-February 20 at Yale Repertory Theatre (1120 Chapel Street). Opening Night is Thursday, February 4.

Serenbe Playhouse and AIR Serenbe (the artist in residence program at Serenbe) are proud to announce a new play development program unlike any other: the 1st Annual New Territories Playwriting Residency, a Writers-in-Residence Program for Outdoor, Site-Specific Plays. New Territories will bring three playwrights to Chattahoochee Hills, GA to develop new outdoor, site-specific theatre from January 17-30, 2016.

Women's Project Theater, under the leadership of Producing Artistic Director Lisa McNulty and Managing Director Maureen Moynihan, announced today that Drama Desk nominee Harris Yulin (Hedda Gabler, Diary of Anne Frank) will return to play Robert Lowell opposite Lortel Award winner Mia Katigbak (Awake and Sing!) as Elizabeth Bishop from November 30 to December 5, 2015 in DEAR ELIZABETH, the inaugural production at the WP's new theatrical home the McGinn/Cazale Theatre, 2162 Broadway (at 76th Street).

Becky Bann Baker and Peter Scolari of HBO's GIRLS have joined the New York premiere of Sarah Ruhl's DEAR ELIZABETH, directed by Kate Whoriskey, at Women's Project Theater, October 26 - December 5, 2015.

En Garde Arts presents BOSSS, its new site-specific outdoor performance festival featuring new works by some of the New York City's most promising emerging theatre artists, this weekend, October 23-25 throughout Hudson River Park. The opening night party at The Frying Pan will now take place on October 23 at 7pm. (Tickets for the opening night party, on board the Frying Pan at Pier 66, are $250 or $75 for artists.)

BroadwayWorld has just learned that Arthur Miller's THE CRUCIBLE will return to Broadway at the Walter Kerr Theatre (219 West 48th Street) this spring. Bill Camp (as Reverend John Hale), Jim Norton (as Giles Corey), Tavi Gevinson (as Mary Warren), and Jason Butler Harner (as Reverend Samuel Parris) are among those who will join previously announced stars Ben Whishaw (as John Proctor), Sophie Okonedo (as Elizabeth Proctor), Saoirse Ronan (as Abigail Williams), and Ciaran Hinds (as Deputy-Governor Danforth).

Dobama Theatre's mission statement indicates that it is its purpose to 'premiere the best contemporary plays by established or emerging playwrights.' Why, then, are they opening their 2015-16 season with a play set in 1666-1670?
