SOMMER 14 - A DANCE OF DEATH & THE IMMORTAL HOUR to Play Finborough Theatre this Autumn

Commissioned by the Finborough Theatre from Cerberus Theatre, the UK premiere and the English world premiere of controversial German playwright Rolf Hochhuth's Sommer 14 - A Dance of Death in a brand new translation opens at the Finborough Theatre for a four week limited season on Tuesday, 5 August 2014 (Press Night: Thursday, 7 August at 7.30pm).

Max Stafford-Clark's acclaimed touring production of Stella Feehily's new NHS play THIS MAY HURT A BIT will transfer to London's St. James Theatre from Wednesday 14 May. Exploring the UK's best-loved and most fiercely debated institutions THIS MAY HURT A BIT was written and researched by Stella Feehily after her husband, director Max Stafford-Clark, suffered a major stroke in 2006.

The Old Globe today announced the complete cast and creative team for the Globe's revival of J.B. Priestley's period classic Time and the Conways. Directed by Rebecca Taichman, Time and the Conways will run March 29 - May 4, 2014 on the Donald and Darlene Shiley Stage in the Old Globe Theatre, part of the Globe's Conrad Prebys Theatre Center. Preview performances run March 29 - April 2. The production will star acclaimed actress Stephanie Cole (OPEN ALL HOURS BBC, CORONATION STREET ITV, WAITING FOR GOD BBC and PYGMALION at the Chichester Festival Theatre) as Iris - a witty, feisty and independent elderly woman whose socialist values were forged in a kinder age. An unswerving champion of the NHS, she finds herself unexpectedly in its care.

Casting is announced for the Script in Hand playreading of 'Pack of Lies,' a provocative spy thriller, at Westport Country Playhouse, on Monday, March 10, 7 p.m. Actors, all alumni of previous Playhouse productions, include 'House of Cards' stars Jayne Atkinson and Michel Gill, and four-time Tony Award winner Boyd Gaines, as well as Kathleen McNenny, Alexis Molnar, Mark Shanahan, and Zoe Winters. Tickets are $15. Based on a true story, the play is written by Hugh Whitemore and directed by Anne Keefe.
