The Skivvies to Make Philadelphia Debut in SEI Innovation Studio, 2/12-14

Valentine's weekend just took on new meaning with The Skivvies making their Philadelphia debut in SEI Innovation Studio as part of Kimmel Center Presents program offerings, Thursday, February 12, Friday February 13 and Saturday, February 14 at 8 p.m. The Skivvies features the mastermind talents of two Broadway performers-Lauren Molina and Nick Cearly-who, as a "musically thrilling" undie-rock, comedy-pop duo, don't just strip down their musical arrangements, they literally strip down to their underwear to perform.

Echo Theater Company's FUGUE to Run 2/14-3/22

How can composers Arnold Schoenberg, Piotr Tchaikovsky and Carlo Gesualdo balance the chaos of their creativity with their need for love? Playwright Tommy Smith and director Chris Fields (the team behind last season's Firemen, named one of the "Best Stage Plays of 2014" by Los Angeles Times theater critic Charles McNulty) trace three real-life love triangles in a passionate tale of intrigue, jealousy and music. The Echo Theater Company presents the world premiere of Fugue, opening on Feb. 14 (Valentines Day) at the Echo's Atwater Village Theatre home.

Conor Ryan to Join Kate Baldwin in Andrew Lippa's JOHN & JEN for Keen Company

The Drama Desk and Obie Award-winning Keen Company today announced that Conor Ryan (most recently seen in the Broadway production of Cinderella) would join Kate Baldwin would star in a rare revival of John & Jen, the musical with music by Andrew Lippa, lyrics by Tom Greenwald, and a book by Greenwald and Lippa. This production will include the premiere of a new song, 'Trouble with Men.'

A.R.T./MXAT Institute to Present BRIDE*WIDOW*HAG at the Loeb Drama Center

The American Repertory Theater/Moscow Art Theater School Institute for Advanced Theater Training, presents Kim Rosenstock's comedy, BRIDE*WIDOW*HAG, directed by Shira Milkowsky. Performances will take place at The Ex, inside the Loeb Drama Center, Harvard Square on January 22, 23 at 7:30PM and January 24 at 2PM & 7:30PM.

SpeakEasy Stage Company to Present A FUTURE PERFECT, 1/9-2/7

From January 9 through February 7, 2015, SpeakEasy Stage Company will proudly present the World Premiere of A FUTURE PERFECT, a timely new comedy about friendship, babies, and defining success, written by Ken Urban.

DTC's THE BOOK CLUB PLAY Begins Tonight

Dallas Theater Center heads back to the Kalita Humphreys Theater with The Book Club Play by Karen Zacarias. Meredith McDonough, who previously worked on the new hit musical Fly By Night, returns to make her DTC directorial debut in this comedy about books and the people who love them. The Book Club Play begins previews tonight, January 1, 2015 with a Pay-What-You-Can performance and runs through Sunday, February 1.

THE ELEPHANT MAN Recoups Capitalization & Breaks Another Box Office Record

The producers of the critically acclaimed new Broadway production of Bernard Pomerance's Tony Award-winning classic The Elephant Man, starring two-time Academy Award nominee Bradley Cooper, Academy Award nominee and Emmy Award winner Patricia Clarkson and Alessandro Nivola, have announced that the show officially recouped its $3.1 million capitalization costs after 6.5 weeks of performances (following the week ending December 21).

Two River Theater to Open ABSURD PERSON SINGULAR Next Month

Two River Theater, under the leadership of Artistic Director John Dias and Managing Director Michael Hurst, continues its 2014/15 Season with Alan Ayckbourn's Absurd Person Singular, directed by Jessica Stone. The production will run January 10-February 1, 2015, with the opening night on Friday, January 16 at 8pm. Tickets starting at $20 and ticket packages for Two River's season are available from 732.345.1400 or www.tworivertheater.org. Absurd Person Singular is supported by co-sponsor The Unterberg Children's Hospital at Monmouth Medical Center.

Breaking News: Renée Fleming Will Make Broadway Debut in Kathleen Marshall-Helmed LIVING ON LOVE; Opens in April 2015!

Producers Scott Landis and Philip Morgaman have confirmed that 4-time Grammy Award winner Renee Fleming will make her Broadway debut this spring in the new comedy Living on Love by two-time Tony Award winner Joe DiPietro, based on the play Peccadillo by Garson Kanin, directed by three-time Tony Award winner Kathleen Marshall. The production begins performances on Wednesday, April 1, 2015 and will open on Monday, April 20, 2015 at the Longacre Theatre (220 West 48th Street). Living on Love will play an 18-week engagement through Sunday, August 2, 2015.Tickets go on sale to the general public on Monday, December 29, 2014.

Paul D'Addario, Lynda Newton & More to Star in THE ROYAL SOCIETY OF ANTARCTICA at The Gift Theatre

The Gift Theatre artistic director Michael Patrick Thornton announces the world premiere of intriguing and touching drama The Royal Society of Antarctica by Naperville native Mat Smart (whose play Naperville, which opened Off-Broadway in November, is a New York Times Critics' Pick). The Royal Society of Antarctica is directed by Gift ensemble member John Gawlik and features Gift ensemble members Paul D'Addario (Bethany), Lynda Newton (Thinner Than Water), John Connolly (Broadsword), Jay Worthington (Thinner Than Water) and Brittany Burch (Othello) with guest artists Aila Peck (Promethean Theatre's The Lark), Brian Keys (Profiles Theatre's Hellcab) and Kyle Zornes (Artistic Director of The Gift's Natural Gas).
