HEADVOICE, a new musical featuring book, music and lyrics by Ethan Andersen, will be presented in the 2015 New York Musical Theatre Festival.

Kate Baldwin and Conor Ryan, the stars of the Keen Company production of John & Jen, the musical with music by Andrew Lippa, lyrics by Tom Greenwald, and a book by Greenwald and Lippa, headed over to the recording studio in April to preserve the 2015 Off-Broadway Cast Recording for Broadway Records. The album is available today, June 16th.

 Williamstown Theatre Festival (Mandy Greenfield, Artistic Director) kicked-off rehearsals for the first two productions of its 61stseason. Rehearsals are in full swing for the first two shows, Off the Main Road on the Main Stage, featuring Golden Globe and Emmy Award-winner Kyra Sedgwick in the World Premiere of a play by Pulitzer Prize-winner William Inge, and Legacy 0n the Nikos Stage, with Tony Award nominee Jessica Hecht and Drama Desk Award-winner Eric Bogosian in Daniel Goldfarb's World Premiere. Both casts arrive in the Berkshires ahead of performances that begin on June 30.

Teich Lumen, spaceship pilot, is called upon to return a "back-up copy" of Earth to the Cygnus Star System in Steven Mark Tenney's play CYGNUS ISA SUMMER CON5T3LL4TION. En route he encounters a telepathic prodigy, the darkly shrouded Inner System Authority, a band of Cygnian artists covertly shooting an art film on Earth, two college students, and his muse.

The original Broadway version of Kander and Ebb's Tony-nominated musical THE VISIT closes today, June 14, 2015. The Visit began performances at the Lyceum Theatre (149 West 45th Street) on Thursday, March 26 and officially opened on Thursday, April 23. California Shakespeare Theater continues its 2015 season with Pulitzer-Prize winning playwright Nilo Cruz's powerfully-penned adaptation of Life Is a Dream, Pedro Calderon de la Barca's epic tale of love, power, and destiny, Life Is a Dream. Directed by Magic Theatre's Artistic Director Loretta Greco in her Cal Shakes debut, Life Is a Dream plays at the Bruns Amphitheater from July 8 through August 2.

Paper Mill Playhouse released a block of great seats today for the world premiere musical, Ever After for Father's Day Weekend including Friday, June 19 at 7:00pm, Saturday, June 20 at 7:00pm and Sunday, June 21 at 1:30pm and 7:00pm.

Final casting has been set for the 2015 Planet Connections Theatre Festivity's Playwrights For A Cause, set to take place at 7:30pm on Sunday, June 14, 2015 at New York Theatre Workshop, 79 East 4th Street, on Sunday, June 14 at 7:30 pm. The evening, which will benefit the non-profit National Coalition Against Censorship, will showcase world premiere one-act plays by three acclaimed playwrights: Israel Horovitz's Breaking Phillip Glass and Erik Ehn's Her Speech, both directed by Planet Connections Theatre Festivity founder and PFAC Producing Artistic Curator Glory Kadigan, and Halley Feiffer's A Play About New Mexico, directed by Gaye Taylor Upchurch.

David Hyde Pierce, winner of four Emmy Awards for his portrayal of Dr. Niles Crane on Frasier, and multiple Emmy Award winner David Lee, Frasier's co-creator and executive producer, will reunite to discuss what goes into making a hit television show. At this onstage conversation event co-produced with Gimlet Media's Alex Blumberg (formally of This American Life and Planet Money), Pierce and Lee talk about what worked, what didn't work, and how to develop a memorable character. A part of Lincoln Center's Masters on Masters series, the conversation will be held tonight at 7:30pm, at the David Rubenstein Atrium at Lincoln Center, Frieda and Roy Furman Stage. Lynne Meadow (Artistic Director) and Barry Grove (Executive Producer) has just announced Manhattan Theatre Club will produce the world premiere of Prodigal Son, the new play written and directed by Tony, Pulitzer Prize, and Academy Award winner John Patrick Shanley.

Tony Award winner, Theater Hall of Fame member and legendary Broadway star Betty Buckley returns to Denver June 15-19 for the fourth consecutive year to teach her Song Interpretation & Monologue Workshop.

Bad Jews runs tonight, June 9 through July 19, 2015 (opening night is June 17, 2015) in the Gil Cates Theater at the Geffen Playhouse.

Producers announced today that The Visit starring Chita Rivera will play its final performance on Sunday, June 14th(3 PM).  Previews began on March 26th and opening night was April 23, 2015.  The Visit is at the Lyceum Theatre   (149 West 45th Street).

On tonight's TONY AWARDS, hosts Alan Cumming and Kristin Chenoweth shared some quick wit just prior to introducing presenter and Tony nominee Bradley Cooper, mocking recent rumors that Cooper is gay.

New Repertory Theatre presents the final show of the 30th Anniversary Season, the Next Rep World Premiere: SCENES FROM AN ADULTERY by Ronan Noone, tonight, June 6 through June 21, 2015 at the Boston University Theatre, Lane-Comley Studio 210. SCENES FROM AN ADULTERY is co-presented with Boston Center for American Performance (BCAP).
