David Hyde Pierce, winner of four Emmy Awards for his portrayal of Dr. Niles Crane on Frasier, and multiple Emmy Award winner David Lee, Frasier's co-creator and executive producer, will reunite to discuss what goes into making a hit television show. At this onstage conversation event co-produced with Gimlet Media's Alex Blumberg (formally of This American Life and Planet Money), Pierce and Lee talk about what worked, what didn't work, and how to develop a memorable character. A part of Lincoln Center's Masters on Masters series, the conversation will be held tonight at 7:30pm, at the David Rubenstein Atrium at Lincoln Center, Frieda and Roy Furman Stage. Producers announced today that The Visit starring Chita Rivera will play its final performance on Sunday, June 14th(3 PM).  Previews began on March 26th and opening night was April 23, 2015.  The Visit is at the Lyceum Theatre   (149 West 45th Street).

59E59 Theaters will host the return of SUMMER SHORTS 2015, the annual festival of six short plays tailor-made for summer viewing, now in its 9th year.

In the tradition of Facing Our Truth: Short Plays on Trayvon, Race and Privilege and HANDS UP: 6 Playwrights, 6 Testaments, The New Black Fest (guest curator playwright Dominique Morisseau) will commission five black women playwrights to write short plays entitled UN-TAMED: HAIR BODY ATTITUDE - Short Plays by Black Women. The playwrights include Cori Thomas, Nikkole Salter, Chisa Hutchinson, Lenelle Moise and Jocelyn Bioh.

Two River Theater just announced its 2015/16 season, and among the lineup is the musical A FUNNY THING HAPPENED ON THE WAY TO THE FORUM, directed by Jessica Stone and featuring an all-male troupe led by An Act of God's Christopher Fitzgerald as 'Pseudolus', a slave who tries to win his freedom by playing matchmaker for his innocent young master.
