Featuring music by eight time Academy Award®-winning composer Alan Menken (Beauty and the Beast, Sister Act, The Little Mermaid), lyrics by Jack Feldman and a new book by four-time Tony® Award winner Harvey Fierstein (La Cage aux Folles, Torch Song Trilogy), Newsies is adapted for the stage from the live-action Disney feature film musical. The production is being directed at Paper Mill by Tony® nominee Jeff Calhoun (The Will Rogers Follies, Grey Gardens). The show begins performances on Thursday, September 15. Kravis Center for the Performing Arts. The show was one of the Great White Way's biggest hit in 2010 and is coming here as part of the 2011-2012 Kravis On Broadway series.

The producers of LA CAGE AUX FOLLES have announced today that George Hamilton will star in the upcoming national tour of the show as Georges. The national tour of LA CAGE AUX FOLLES will be produced by Barry and Fran Weissler, Sonia Friedman Productions and David Babani in association with NETworks Presentations.
