Pamela Keogh Discusses Audrey Hepburn And Signs Copies Of Her Book In NYC 4/19

Inge's American Drama PICNIC Opens 4/2 At Stoneham Theater

Picnic, by William Inge, will open Thursday, April 2 at Stoneham Theatre. The classic American drama, set in a small Kansas town in the early 1950s, tells the story of Madge and Alan, a sweet young couple and Hal, the ex-football star and drifter who awakens Madge's true desires and shakes up the community. Most of the story takes place around a Labor Day picnic. Picnic was first produced on Broadway in 1953 with actor Paul Newman has Hal Carter. Inge received the 1953 Pulitzer Prize for Drama for the work.

Nina Foch, Actress, Renowned Coach and Directing Teacher, Dead at 84

The Los Angeles Times has reported that Nina Foch, a veteran actress from Hollywood's film noir era of the 1940s who became a widely respected acting coach and teacher of directors, died Friday at the Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center. She was 84. The cause was complications of long-term myelodysplasia, a blood disorder, according to her son, Dr. Dirk De Brito.

NYMF To Present Musical About Rise and Fall of Kathie Lee Gifford, 'I Can't Believe She Said That!'

New York Musical Theatre Festival will present the World Premiere of Richard Rodgers Award finalist SHE CAN'T BELIEVE SHE SAID THAT!, a new musical about the rise and fall and fall and rise of Kathie Lee Gifford. Featuring book, music and lyrics by Matt Prager (South Park, That's My Bush!) and directed by Josh Hecht (of the Drama Desk Award winning Christine Jorgensen Reveals), performances begin September 26 at TBG Theater.

MAGGIE MAES & KIMBERLY VAUGHN will present Four Women & a Waitress, at the ArcLight Theatre, June 10-22, 2008. The two plays, Rosemary with Ginger by Edward Allen Baker & The Stronger by August Strindberg, will be directed by KARL BURY & STEPHEN WADSWORTH, respectively.
