Shoshana Bean, Willemijn Verkaik and More to Join Scott Alan in Concert at the O2, Aug 4

On August 4th acclaimed composer and lyricist Scott Alan wil return for his biggest concert yet at the IndigO2 Theatre Arena at the O2. The 7pm concert, produced by Amzi Entertainment, will feature a 15 piece orchestra and feature song selections from Alan's four albums, 'Dreaming Wide Awake,' 'Keys,' 'What I Wanna Be When I Grow Up,' and 'LIVE.'

Savannah Stevenson, Jeremy Taylor & More Join West End's WICKED in November

WICKED, the long-running hit West End musical that tells the incredible untold story of the Witches of Oz, is pleased to announce that Savannah Stevenson (Glinda), Jeremy Taylor (Fiyero); Sue Kelvin (Madame Morrible) and Olivier award-winning actor Paul Clarkson (Doctor Dillamond) will join the previously announced international Wicked star Willemijn Verkaik (Elphaba) in the new London cast at the Apollo Victoria Theatre from Monday 18 November 2013. Sam Kelly will return to play The Wizard, a role he previously played in 2009/2010. Katie Rowley Jones (Nessarose) and Sam Lupton (Boq) will continue in their current starring roles. Emma Hatton will be Standby Elphaba and current ensemble cast member Sophie Linder-Lee will become Standby Glinda.

Lindsay Mendez is WICKED's New Elphaba, Beginning Today

Beginning performances today, May 28, 2013, Lindsay Mendez will assume the role of Elphaba in the Broadway production of WICKED. Ms. Mendez has previously worked with both the composer and director of WICKED, having appeared in the 2011 Broadway revival of Stephen Schwartz's Godspell, and, more recently, giving a breakout performance in the world premiere musical, Dogfight, staged by WICKED director Joe Mantello.

Renowned musical theatre composer and lyricist Scott Alan will soon host a reading of HOME, written by Christy Hall and himself, on June 27, 2013 directed by Stafford Arima. 'For the first time in ten years of doing readings and workshops of HOME,' Alan writes, 'I am presenting the story I always set out to tell.'

The evening features songs from his four original albums.
