One of Italy's greatest treasures, Leonardo da Vinci's 'Codex on the Flight of Birds,' will be exhibited at the Smithsonian's National Air and Space Museum in Washington, D.C., for 40 days this fall, from today, Sept. 13 until Oct. 22. The extraordinary document, created ca. 1505, shows da Vinci's interest in human flight by exploring bird flight and behavior. It includes sketches and descriptions of devices and aerodynamic principles related to mechanical flight that predate the invention of the airplane by 400 years.

On October 1, Warner Bros. Home Entertainment will celebrate the 60th anniversary ofHouse of Wax with a stunning new restored and remastered High-definition 3D Blu-ray. In 1953, the film was the first color 3D feature released by a major studio. The huge hit also marked Vincent Price's first major starring horror role and changed the course of his career. Thanks to advanced technology and the expert work of Warner Bros. Motion Picture Imaging (MPI), audiences will now be able to enjoy the classic mystery shocker as it was originally seen in theatres. The Blu-ray ($39.99 SRP) will include a new featurette, 'House of Wax: Unlike Anything You've Seen Before' and Mystery of The Wax Museum,the original 1933 film on which House of Wax is based. A 2D version of House of Wax will also be included.

Comedy Central is on a nationwide search for the next great stand-up comedian. “UP NEXT” starts at 26 participating CC: Certified Clubs around the country with over 200 stand up-comedians showcasing their best material -- all part of a three-round talent showcase. Selected comedians representing each club will advance to one of four regional semi-finals between October 9-23, with eight comedians earning slots on the New York Comedy Festival's “Comics to Watch” annual show on Wednesday, November 6.
