NBC has unveiled an all-new promo for the highly-anticipated musical HAIRSPRAY LIVE!, airing  Wednesday, Dec. 7 at 8 p.m. ET/PT. Get a first look below!

Marquee Productions will present the popular rousing musical smash hit Hairspray December 2 through 11 at the historic Montgomery Theater (271 Market Street, downtown San Jose).

NBC's HAIRSPRAY LIVE will air Wednesday, Dec. 7 at 8 p.m. ET/PT and will originate from Los Angeles. The all-star cast includes Harvey Fierstein as Edna Turnblad, Jennifer Hudson as Motormouth Mabel, Martin Short as Wilbur Turnblad, Derek Hough as Corny Collins, Ariana Grandeas Penny Pingleton, Andrea Martin as Prudy Pingleton and Kristin Chenoweth as Velma Von Tussle. Rosie O'Donnell and Sean Hayes will also make special appearances in the broadcast.

NBC has announced that on Monday, November 28th, the cast of HAIRSPRAY LIVE will make an appearance on 'Today.' As BWW previously announced, THE GREAT COMET of 1812's Josh Groban will also be performing on the broadcast.
