Some of the West End's biggest stars have been nominated in BroadwayWorld UK's first-ever awards!

Oscar de la Renta, Diane Von Furstenberg, Justin Timberlake, Tory Burch and Anna Wintour will be among the many fashion industry stars featured in FASHION'S NIGHT OUT 2010, a one-hour primetime special that takes viewers behind the scenes of the world's largest fashion celebration, to be broadcast Tuesday, Sept. 14 (10:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network. The special will be hosted by Emmy Award-winning actor Neil Patrick Harris, star of the CBS comedy series, 'How I Met Your Mother.'

Accoring to a report by Baz Bamigboye in UK Daily Mail, Australian choreographer Ashley Wallen, is set to choreograph the upcoming musical version of Ghost. Wallen is perhaps best known for his work with Kylie Minogue and DanceX. Wallen has also with stars such as The Sugababes, Will Young and Mariah Carey. This will be the first time he has worked on a musical theatre piece.

Whoopi Goldberg will rejoin the cast of the hit musical comedy SISTER ACT in October to complete her run as Mother Superior. She will perform the role on the evening of Friday 22 October, at two shows on Saturday 23 October and at two shows on Monday 25 October. Whoopi's previous run, her West End debut, was a huge critical success and saw fans camping overnight at the box office and daily queues around the block at the London Palladium for tickets. During Whoopi's run Sister Act also broke the record for the highest weekly gross of any musical ever at the Palladium. She was unable to complete that run, which was to end on August 31, when she had to return to the USA due to a family emergency.

As BroadwayWorld previously reported, after receiving the news that her mother has suffered from a severe stroke, Whoopi Goldberg left the West End production of SISTER ACT on Friday August 27, to be with her family. Today, the actress, producer and television personality announced on The View that her mother passed away on August 29.

Tyler Perry's next film, For Colored Girls Who Have Considered Suicide When the Rainbow is Enuf, which is set to star Janet Jackson, Whoopi Goldberg, Phylicia Rashad, Jurnee Smollett, Kimberly Elise, Kerry Washington, and Macy Gray, has been given a November 5 release date, Variety reveals. Filming began in June. The release had initially been announced for January 2011.

David Burnham, most recently seen on Broadway WICKED, is set to join Barbra Streisand impersonator Steven Brinberg for his upcoming concerts at the Rrazz Room. Simply Barbra: 'Barbra and Burnham' will play from Sept. 1-5.

After selling out its initial performances in June, two encore performances in September and adding a 3rd performance, a fourth (and final) performance has been added to DINA MARTINA: SITTING OVATIONS at The Laurie Beechman Theater on Sunday, September 26 at 9:30pm
