Laguna Playhouse will present the return of Rita Rudner who will be performing her award-winning solo comedy, AN EVENING WITH RITA RUDNER and her new dress, for two performances only, Saturday, May 31 and Sunday, June 1 at the Laguna Playhouse, 606 Laguna Canyon Road in Laguna Beach.

Disney's Aladdin, the new musical comedy based on the Academy Award-winning animated film, opened to critical acclaim on March 20th, 2014 at Broadway's New Amsterdam Theatre. Today, the production is making three national television debuts on the ABC Television Network, which kicked off with GOOD MORNING AMERICA.

SISTER ACT, the family friendly, over the top spectacle with nuns that rock, will perform at the Fox Cities Performing Arts Center on May 6-11.

After a highly-successful season at 54 Below, The Meeting* has returned to its downtown roots this year with shows through May. The Meeting* has been called 'delicious and delightfully droll' by The New York Post, and 'hilarious and sardonic' by The Village Voice. A recent story for Slate.com called the evening 'so deliciously icy that it left me shivering with fear and delight.' The April show will feature special guests Justin Vivian Bond (Tony Award nominated entertainer), Angela DiCarlo (Mad World of Miss Hathaway), Scott Matthew (Shortbus), Marty Thomas (Xanadu), Sven Ratzke (Hedwig in Berlin), Paul Dawson & PJ DeBoy (Shortbus), Shane Shane (La MaMa) and Derek Smith (Dixon Place). Treehouse Comedy Productions in conjunction with Mohegan Sun in Uncasville, CT will present comedian Paula Poundstone Saturday, April 26th at the Cabaret Theatre. 25 years ago Paula Poundstone climbed on a Greyhound bus and traveled across the country -- stopping in at open mic nights at comedy clubs as she went. A high school drop-out, she went on to become one of the great humorists of our time. You can hear her through your laughter as a regular panelist on NPR's popular rascal of a weekly news quiz show, Wait Wait... Don't Tell Me. She tours regularly, performing standup comedy across the country, causing Bob Zany with the Boston Globe to write: 'Poundstone can regale an audience for several hours with her distinctive brand of wry, intelligent and witty comedy.' Audience members may put it a little less elegantly: 'I peed my pants.'

The producers of Los Monologos de la Vagina, Eve Ensler's groundbreaking show, have announced the stars joining the show for the first four weeks at New York's Westside Theatre (407 West 43rd Street).
