The show sold out on March 3rd, and Raftery has added a second performance tonight, April 10 at 9:30 p.m.

In celebration and recognition of women who have made a difference in the world through their chosen art form, The Riverside Theatre today announced it has selected Dr. Cissy Houston as the recipient of the 4th Annual Women of Excellence in the Arts Award. This year's event will take place at the Theatre (91 Claremont Ave., bet. 120th & 122nd St.), on Friday, April 26, starting at 7:00 p.m. (preceded by a special reception at 6:00 p.m.), where Houston will discuss her book, "Remembering Whitney." Co-Chairs for this very special evening are R&B singers Chuck Jackson and Smokey Robinson!

What happens when the squares of Seville meet the streets of New York? Find out on April 26 when Carmen's Place (A Fantasy) opens at the Castillo Theatre on 42nd Street, running until June 16. The company of RODGERS + HAMMERSTEIN'S CINDERELLA will enter the studio on March 18 to preserve the Original Broadway Cast Recording for Ghostlight Records. The Broadway premiere of the beloved romantic musical - currently running at the Broadway Theater - has been hailed as "Resplendent with a radiant score" by the Wall Street Journal, "Pure Magic" by the Associated Press and "A full-on romantic fantasy" by the New York Post. RODGERS + HAMMERSTEIN'S CINDERELLA has music by Richard Rodgers, lyrics by Oscar Hammerstein II, a new book by Douglas Carter Beane and original book by Oscar Hammerstein II. The musical is directed by Mark Brokaw. Josh Rhodes is choreographer. Music adaptation, supervision and arrangements are by David Chase. Andy Einhorn is music director and conductor.
