Arena Stage announces the full cast and creative team for BORN FOR THIS: THE BEBE WINANS STORY, the heartwarming true story of six-time Grammy Award-winning icon BeBe Winans' journey to fame.

Arena Stage presents BORN FOR THIS: THE BEBE WINANS STORY, the heartwarming true story of six-time Grammy Award-winning icon BeBe Winans' journey to fame. BORN FOR THIS, directed by celebrated director and playwright Charles Randolph-Wright (Motown The Musical), officially kicks off Arena Stage's 2016/17 season, featuring original songs and Winans family hits, with a book by Randolph-Wright and Winans. The acclaimed Broadway Sings concert series will continue this summer at the Highline Ballroom with its twelfth installment, Broadway Sings The Beatles on August 22 at 8:00pm. A cast of 15 Broadway stars will sing completely new arrangements of the legendary band's greatest hits, accompanied by a 14-piece orchestra playing original orchestrations.

As reported earlier today, chart-topping British pop star Leona Lewis will officially take on the iconic role of 'Grizabella,' the Glamour Cat, in the first-ever Broadway revival of Andrew Lloyd Webber's record-breaking musical, Cats. The production begins previews performances on Thursday, July 14, 2016, with an official opening set for Sunday, July 31, 2016, at the Neil Simon Theatre. The complete lineup for the Best of Broadway Sings, the next concert in the Broadway Sings concert series at the Highline Ballroom, will feature Corey Cott (Newsies), Christine Dwyer (Wicked), and Laura Michelle Kelly (Finding Neverland).

BROADWAY SINGS is the acclaimed concert series that takes a pop icon and flips their music to create brand new, unique arrangements and orchestrations. Each installment gathers over a dozen Broadway stars to belt out new versions of the songs you love, backed by a full jazz band. The New York-based series was founded in2011 by Corey Mach (Wicked, Godspell) and is music directed by Joshua Stephen Kartes.  It  has  been  seen at  venues  such as  (le)  Poisson  Rouge, Highline Ballroom 54 Below,  and The Cutting Room.

Roundabout Theatre Company and Columbia University School of the Arts have announced the winners of Columbia@Roundabout's New Play Reading Series.

The Broadway Sings concert series will continue at the Highline Ballroom its "Best Of Broadway Sings" concert, which will feature showstoppers from the series' previous 11 concerts. Some of Broadway's brightest, current talents, such as 2016 Tony Nominee Brandon Victor Dixon (Shuffle Along), Jay Armstrong Johnson (On the Town), and Alison Luff (Les Miserables), will sing completely new arrangements of the hits of pop superstars such as Adele, Michael Jackson, Amy Winehouse, P!NK, Sara Bareilles, and Whitney Houston. Over 15 Broadway performers will be accompanied by a 14-piece orchestra playing unique, original orchestrations created for the acclaimed series.
