Signature Theatre's OLD HATS Extends

Signature Theatre has announced a four week extension for the special return engagement of Old Hats, created and performed by Bill Irwin and David Shiner, with music and lyrics by and featuring Shaina Taub, directed by Tina Landau. The production begins performances January 26 and will now play through April 3, 2016 with a Thursday, February 18 opening night in The Irene Diamond Stage at The Pershing Square Signature Center (480 West 42nd Street between 9th and 10th Avenues). Tickets start at $45. To purchase tickets for all Signature productions, call Ticket Services at 212-244-7529 (Tues. - Sun., 11am - 6pm) or visit www.SignatureTheatre.org.

The Australian Ballet's CINDERELLA to Make Her First Trip to Brisbane, 19-24 Feb

Brisbane audiences will be swept away when the ultimate story of transformation opens The Australian Ballet's 2016 season in February. Alexei Ratmansky's CINDERELLA comes to QPAC's Lyric Theatre for the very first time from 19-24 February 2016, following sell-out seasons in Melbourne, Sydney and Adelaide as well as acclaimed performances in Shanghai in 2015.

Lyric Opera of Kansas City PREMIERE Rare Czech Opera Dvorak's Rusalka

Lyric Opera of Kansas City continues its 58th season with a Lyric Opera Premiere production of Anton Dvo?ák's rarely performed opera Rusalka, November 7, 11, 13 and 15  at the Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts. The production will be sung in Czech with English titles. This is not only the first Dvo?ák opera produced by the Lyric Opera of Kansas City but the first Czech opera for the Company and Kansas City audiences.The production, directed by Academy-Award winning director Eric Simonson, will feature members of the Kansas City Symphony under the baton of Alexander Polianichko and a unique partnership with members of the Kansas City Ballet. One of the highlights of this lush production will be the spectacular lighting and video projections.

Due to overwhelming advance ticket sales, American Conservatory Theater (A.C.T.) has announced that an extra week of performances will be added to the current schedule of the West Coast premiere of the Signature Theatre production of Old Hats. Originally scheduled to close on Sunday, October 5, tickets are now on-sale through Sunday, October 12. Old Hats will perform at A.C.T.'s Geary Theater (415 Geary Street, San Francisco).
