'I Fioretti in Musica-Opera in Danza' (Little Flowers in Music, an Opera in Dance) is an original opera with concept, libretto, direction and sets by Gian Marco Lo Forte and an acoustic score for five voices composed by Sasha Zamler-Carhart juxtaposed with an electronic score consisting of fixed electro-acoustic sound and live vocal processing by Ryan Carter.

On Monday September 21, 2009, the IT Awards (New York Innovative Theatre Awards), the organization dedicated to celebrating Off-Off-Broadway, and host Julie Halston, announced the 2009 recipients at the Fifth Annual IT Awards Ceremony at New World Stages. Comedic actress Julie Halston hosts the 2009 IT Awards, which honor the best of Off-Off Broadway, tonight at New World Stages at 7:00pm.

On July 20, 2009, The New York Innovative Theatre Foundation, the organization dedicated to celebrating Off-Off-Broadway, celebrated it?s fifth birthday and announced the 2009 nominees at its annual sold-out event at the Carmine Street Recreation Center located at 25 Carmine Street.

This new musical adapted from the novella by Willa Cather is written and directed by Mary Fulham with lyrics by FringeNYC Overall Excellence Award winner Paul Foglino (Hercules in High Suburbia), and music by Mark Ettinger. Performances run through March 8 at La MaMa (74A East 4th Street). COMING, APHRODITE! is a love story about a man, a woman, and a dog that explores the pursuit of art and the nature of success. A painter, Don Hedger and his dog, Caesar, live in a one-room apartment. Their daily life is upended when Eden Bower, an aspiring actress who likes to sing show tunes and exercise in the nude, moves in next door.

La MaMa E.T.C. and Watson Arts will present the World Premiere of COMING, APHRODITE! beginning February 20. This new musical adaptation of a novella by Willa Cather is written and directed by Mary Fulham with lyrics by FringeNYC Overall Excellence Award winner Paul Foglino (Hercules in High Suburbia), and music written by Mark Ettinger. Opening night is Thursday, February 26.
