ABC will ring in the holidays with series and specials all season long, celebrating warmth, fun and family. From Thanksgiving through the New Year, ABC will be the place to go 'Home for the Holidays.'

The New Group and TodayTix have announced a digital lottery for Sweet Charity. Offering wide access to this production launching The New Group's 2016-2017 Season, the lottery will offer $35 tickets for performances through December 30.

It is announced today that the Tony Award-winning and Academy Award-nominated actor Sophie Okonedo will join Damian Lewis in a new production of Edward Albee's The Goat, or Who Is Sylvia?  Directed by Ian Rickson, the production will play a strictly limited 12 week season at the Theatre Royal Haymarket from 24th March to 24th June 2017.

The Baryshnikov Arts Center will present two BAC Salon concerts in November, both in the intimate Howard Gilman Performance Space.  Rehearsals begin today at Polonsky Shakespeare Center, 262 Ashland Place, for Theatre for a New Audience's New York premiere of Servant of Two Masters by Carlo Goldoni adapted by Constance Congdon from a translation by Christina Sibul and featuring Steven Epp.  Directed by Christopher Bayes, The Servant of Two Masters begins previews Sunday, November 6, at 7:30pm for a Wednesday, November 16, opening.  The run is scheduled through Sunday, December 4.

The New Yorker Festival will present a Theatre for a New Audience production of a reading of the new two-character play About Alice that Calvin Trillin adapted from his memoir about his late wife, the educator Alice Stewart Trillin. About Alice, with Jessica Hecht as Alice and Tony Shalhoub as Calvin and directed by Leonard Foglia, will be heard one night only at the Directors Guild Theatre, 110 West 57th Street, Today, October 8, at 7:00pm.

Theatre for a New Audience has moved up the opening date for the New York premiere of The Servant of Two Masters by Carlo Goldoni at Polonsky Shakespeare Center, 262 Ashland Place, to Wednesday, November 16, at 7:30pm, one day earlier than originally announced.

Yale Repertory Theatre, celebrating 50 years of daring artists, bold choices, and adventurous audiences, presents the world premiere of Scenes from Court Life, or the whipping boy and his prince by Sarah Ruhl, directed by Mark Wing-Davey, now through October 22 at Yale University Theatre (222 York Street). Opening Night is tonight, October 6.

Charlotte Hope (Myranda in Game of Thrones, Allied, A United Kingdom), Jack Fortune (King Lear, Route Irish, Sparkling Cyanide), Barnaby Kay (A Streetcar Named Desire, The Real Thing, Wuthering Heights) and Gary Shelford (Twelfth Night, Angry Young Man) join the previously announced multi award-winning, international star Ed Harris (forthcoming HBO series from J.J. Winsome Brown, the actress and writer who enjoyed considerable success with her solo play THIS IS Mary Brown at La MaMa last year, returns to the stage with her newest work, HIT THE BODY ALARM, presented by The Performing Garage (33 Wooster St.). The solo play's official opening night is tonight, September 22. Directed by Brad Rouse and Winsome Brown, HIT THE BODY ALARM is scheduled to run through October 2, 2016.

Due to demand, The New Group has announced an additional week for Sweet Charity, the production launching the company's 2016-2017 Season. This twice-extended engagement, originally set to play through December 11, now runs through Friday, December 30.
