From THE PRINCESS BRIDE to CLUELESS to his work with Woody Allen to THE COSBY SHOW to GOSSIP GIRL to TOY STORY, Shawn easily has one of the most recognizable faces, and voices, in Hollywood.

Following Mr Burns and 1984, Almeida Associate Director Robert Icke directs Tobias Menzies (Game of Thrones) in a site specific staging of Wallace Shawn's The Fever. Shawn's searing monologue will be performed for an audience of 28 in the intimate surroundings of a suite at The May Fair Hotel.

In honor of his death, today we salute one of the most renowned and respected directors on Broadway, in Hollywood and far beyond, the one and only Mike Nichols.

Dixon Place's new musical commission, WAR LESBIAN, will have its world premiere beginning December 5th. Featuring Erin Markey this original musical, with book by Kristine Haruna Lee, music by Kathryn Hathaway and a cast of ten is directed by Jordan Fein in collaboration with harunalee. Today the Chicago Humanities Festival (CHF) announced an added event with Hollywood icon Anjelica Huston tonight, Nov. 14 at 6 p.m. at First United Methodist Church at The Chicago Temple (77 W Washington St), to culminate the 25th Anniversary Fall Festival: Journeys.

David Rabe's Sticks and Bones launches The New Group's 20th Anniversary Season. Dixon Place presents new work every month -- theater, puppetry, performance and visual art, music, dance and literature -- at all stages of development. This Fall, Dixon Place will present new-works-in-progress written and performed by current Artist-in-Residence David Cale. On Thursday evenings this month -- September 4th, 11th, 18th, and 25th at 7:30pm -- Cuz I Just Got To Be Me...Free, a series of workshop performances that feature unfettered new songs, monologues and stories -- each evening a different 45-minute set -- will be performed in The Dixon Place Lounge.

On The Wind Productions will present a revival of CHINESE COFFEE by Ira Lewis. The production will be directed by Emmy nominee Louise Lasser (Mary Hartman, Mary Hartman; Girls; Bananas on Broadway) starring Obie Award winner Austin Pendleton (My Cousin Vinny, The Diary of Anne Frank on Broadway) and Sean Walsh.
