Three Day Hangover's DRUNKLE VANYA to Run 9/4-18 at The Gin Mill

Three Day Hangover is thrilled to be bringing boozy Chekhov to New York City with Drunkle Vanya, adapted by Lori Wolter Hudson from Anton Chekhov's classic Uncle Vanya. The second full production of their 2014 Season, Drunkle Vanya will be staged at The Gin Mill, 442 Amsterdam Avenue (bet. West 81st and 82nd Streets) in NYC from September 4-18, 2014.

MTC's WHEN WE WERE YOUNG AND UNAFRAID, Starring Cherry Jones, Enters Final Week

Manhattan Theatre Club's world premiere of WHEN WE WERE YOUNG AND UNAFRAID, the new play by Sarah Treem ("House of Cards," "In Treatment"), directed by Tony Award winner Pam MacKinnon (Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?, Clybourne Park), begins the final week of its run today, Tuesday, August 5 at MTC at New York City Center - Stage I (131 West 55th Street).

A DANCE OF DEATH Begins Tonight at the Finborough Theatre

Commissioned by the Finborough Theatre from Cerberus Theatre, the UK premiere and the English world premiere of controversial German playwright Rolf Hochhuth's Sommer 14 - A Dance of Death in a brand new translation opens at the Finborough Theatre for a four week limited season today, 5 August 2014 (Press Night: Thursday, 7 August at 7.30pm).

Roger Forbes, Elizabeth Franz, Robert Foxworth and Jill Tanner Lead QUARTET, Beginning Tonight at The Old Globe

The Old Globe presents its third production of the 2014 Summer Season, Ronald Harwood's comedy Quartet, directed by Richard Seer (Other Desert Cities, God of Carnage, The Last Romance). Harwood received an Academy Award for his screenplay of The Pianist and was nominated for The Diving Bell and the Butterfly and The Dresser (also a hit on Broadway and the West End). Quartet will play in the Sheryl and Harvey White Theatre, part of the Globe's Conrad Prebys Theatre Center, today, July 25 - August 24, 2014.

Albee-Inspired MR. LANDING TAKES A FALL Begins 9/12 at The Flea

Slightly Altered States Theater Company presents the World Premiere of MR. LANDING TAKES A FALL, an absurdist comedy by Sari Caine, directed by Sherri Eden Barber. Inspired by Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?, the play was a PlayPenn 2013 semi-finalist and short-listed for both the 24/7 (UK) and the Ronald Duncan Award (UK). Previews begin September 12 at The Flea Theater with opening slated for Monday, September 22.

Up on the Marquee: A DELICATE BALANCE

Glenn Close, John Lithgow, Lindsay Duncan, Bob Balaban, Clare Higgins, and Martha Plimpton will star in a new Broadway production of Edward Albee's A Delicate Balance this fall at the Golden Theatre (252 West 45th Street). The production, which will be directed by Pam MacKinnon, begins previews Monday, October 20 and plays an 18-week limited engagement through Sunday, February 22, 2015. Gemma Bodinetz to Direct Bristol Old Vic's JUNO AND THE PAYCOCK

Liverpool Everyman and Playhouse Artistic Director Gemma Bodinetz will direct Sean O'Casey's Juno and the Paycock in a major co-production with Bristol Old Vic. The cast will be led by Niamh Cusack as the eponymous Juno and Des McAleer as her husband Jack Boyle. The production is at Bristol Old Vic from 5 to 27 September before moving to the Liverpool Playhouse from 1 to 18 October.
