JULIUS BY DESIGN -- a new play by Kara Lee Corthron, winner of the Paula Vogel Playwriting Award -- will be given its world-premiere production Off-Broadway this summer, presented by Fulcrum Theater with preview performances starting Tuesday, July 5 prior to an official opening night on Sunday, July 10 at the Access Theatre (380 Broadway) in Manhattan.

SILENCE! The Musical, the unauthorized parody of The Silence of the Lambs, began performances June 24th at Theatre 80, located at 80 St. Marks Place (between First & Second Ave.) The official opening is this Saturday night, July 9th and the limited engagement is set to run through August 13th.

The Tony Award winning musical, Avenue Q, will welcome two new leads to the cast, the production has announced today. On July 9 Adam Kantor (who made his Broadway debut as Mark Cohen in the closing cast of RENT on Broadway) will join AVENUE Q in the roles of Princeton and Rod. On July 20, Veronica J. Kuehn (last seen on Broadway in MAMMA MIA) will assume the roles of Kate Monster and Lucy the Slut.

Following sold out runs of Twelfth Night and Richard II last summer, Sonnet Repertory Theatre announces their upcoming production of Brecht's The Caucasian Chalk Circle, directed by Christopher Schilder. The Caucasian Chalk Circle will begin performances on Thursday, July 28, with an official opening slated for Friday, July 29.
