Oscar- and Tony Award-winner Liza Minnelli has weighed in with the Advocate on today's Prop 8 ruling. Minnelli said, 'Today's ruling in California encourages me to believe that people are beginning to understand that if you want to be with someone, protect them, and care for them through vows and the legalities of marriage, then you should be able to do that. Wonderful news.'

Vassar College's Powerhouse Theatre has announced that their upcoming concert production of ON A CLEAR DAY YOU CAN SEE FOREVER, scheduled to run from July 29 to August 1, is completely sold out. However, the Theatre advises checking the box office's website in case additional tickets are released.
