Producers Arlene Phillips and Adam Spiegel have announced that box offices in London and around the country have been bombarded with requests for tickets to see Strictly's Vincent and Flavia in their own show, MIDNIGHT TANGO, and sales have now reached £2 million for the limited season West End run and the nationwide tour for 2012.
MIDNIGHT TANGO is the creation of Vincent Simone and Flavia Cacace, stars of the BBC's Strictly Come Dancing. The show has been touring the United Kingdom since April and has been the fastest selling show of the year in many of the venues. Producers of the show, Arlene Phillips and Adam Spiegel, are delighted to announce that MIDNIGHT TANGO will now be seen in the West End at the Aldwych Theatre for a strictly limited season, opening on 20 January 2012. The season must end on 31 March.
With some theatres already reporting that Midnight Tango is their fastest selling show of 2011, the producers of Midnight Tango have responded by adding further performances at certain venues on the nationwide tour, which begins in Southampton at the Mayflower Theatre on 6 April.
Due to overwhelming demand, the producers of Midnight Tango have added another month of dates to the nationwide tour. Vincent Simone and Flavia Cacace have dazzled television audiences for six series of the BBC's Strictly Come Dancing with their stunning tango routines. Now, in their new live show, they will bring to life all the drama, sensuality and elegance of this most exciting of dance forms.
