Catch newly inducted Pro Football Hall of Famer Dave Robinson at the Fox Cities Performing Arts Center for a special evening. The former Green Bay Packers outside linebacker will appear in Green and Gold Legends at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 9, 2013 in the Kimberly-Clark Theater.

Ocean State Theatre Company (OSTC) has announced that its first full season in their new state-of-the-art theatre located at 1245 Jefferson Boulevard in Warwick, will open with the international smash hit, Les Miserables.

'Lombardi,' a play about the legendary Green Bay Packers coach Vince Lombardi, made its professional area debut on September 20 at the Eagle Theatre in Hammonton, N.J. The theatre will be one of the first playhouses in America to produce the show since it close on Broadway in 2011, giving regional audiences a rare opportunity to catch this biographical drama. The Eagle Theatre, located at 208 Vine St. in Hammonton, N.J., lined the six member cast of 'Lombardi' with several veteran actors. David Wills, who plays famed Green Bay Packers coach Vince Lombardi, and Marianne Green, who plays his wife, have performed regionally and internationally for decades. This will mark their third time performing as each other's opposites since first sharing the stage in 1979 when they were cast in the musical 'Shenandoah.'

Le Petit Theater debuted its new theatre arts education program with excerpts of LOMBARDI for close to 200 public school students this morning as part of "Because We Can," a new initiative to educate New Orleans youths about theatre.Students from St. Paul Lutheran School, McDonough 32 Literacy Charter School, The Good Shepherd School and Encore Academy were treated to breakfast treats from Tableau Restaurant, music by Kermit Ruffins, scenes from LOMBARDI and a Q&A with former New Orleans Saints player Mike McKenzie, founder of the 34 Ways Foundation.

Le Petit Theater will debut its new theatre arts education program with a special preview performance of LOMBARDI for public school students as part of 'Because We Can,' a new initiative to educate New Orleans youths about theatre. Students will watch an excerpt of LOMBARDI followed by Q&A with former N.O. Saint Mike McKenzie and musician Kermit Ruffins. Video and photography will be allowed.

Tickets are now available for eleven performances Sept. 6 - 21. Ticket prices range from $30-$50 with a special discount performance on Wednesday, September 18 at 8pm. Tickets for that Sept. 18 performance are $10-$20. Peninsula Players Theatre will present readings of three short plays by Door County students in the theater tonight, July 29 at 7 p.m. The free public readings, directed by Players company member Neil Friedman, will showcase the work of three young writers who participated in the High School Playwrighting Contest in conjunction with the Players' initiative, The Play's the Thing, last winter and spring. Friedman played Vince Lombardi in the Players' production of 'Lombardi' last fall and is in the Players' musical 'Sunday in the Park with George.'
