The Reprise Theatre Company's production of CAROUSEL will close on February 7, 2010.

The 2009-2010 season of Reprise Theatre Company continues with Rodgers and Hammerstein's 'Carousel,' January 26 to February 7 at UCLA's Freud Playhouse. Alexandra Silber stars as Julie Jordan, direct from her critically acclaimed portrayal of Julie Jordan in 'Carousel' at the Savoy Theatre in London's West End (TMA Award - Best Actress).

Alexandra Silber stars as Julie Jordan, direct from her critically acclaimed portrayal of Julie Jordan in 'Carousel' at the Savoy Theatre in London's West End (TMA Award - Best Actress). Silber is joined by Robert Patteri as Billy Bigelow ('Scarlet Pimpernel,' 'Beauty and the Beast'.) Veteran character actor M. Emmet Walsh appears as the Starkeeper. Michael Michetti, co-artistic director of The Theatre at Boston Court, will direct, with choreography by Lee Martino and musical direction by Darryl Archibald.

In its Los Angeles Regional Premiere, the Tony Award winning musical The Light In The Piazza will offer special discounted tickets for the Thursday, February 12th and Friday, February 13th performances at the Covina Center for the Performing Arts. All remaining seats for these performances of this critically acclaimed production are $15. In a statement, Phil Miller, Artistic Producing Director of CCPA said 'we are very pleased to be able to offer these discounted to seats to theatre fans throughout Los Angeles during these challenging economic times. Ensuring that all fans of Piazza will be able to see this acclaimed Los Angeles Regional Premiere.'

The Covina Center for the Performing Arts is pleased to welcome Victoria Strong to the role of Margaret Johnson in The Light In The Piazza, beginning on Saturday, January 31, 2009 and continuing until the end of the scheduled run on February 15, 2009. Christopher Callen will play her final performance on Friday, January 30, 2009.Callen is leaving the production to join a major international tour of Menopause the Musical, the dates unfortunately conflict with the Piazza run, she will be leaving Piazza in the more than capable hands of Ms. Strong.
