Works & Process at the Guggenheim presents the World Premiere of Works & Process Rotunda Project: Daniil Simkin Falls the Shadow with choreography by Alejandro Cerrudo, September 4 & 5, 2017 at 8pm and 9:30pm.

Antonio Fini's International Italian Dance Festival - classes and workshops held in his native Calabria and in New York City - will culminate in a Gala Performance and Awards Ceremony, Thursday August 31st, 8 PM, at the Ailey Citigroup Theater.

Works & Process at the Guggenheim announces that Dior will design costumes for the World Premiere of Falls the Shadow, a new 30-minute work made in and for the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum rotunda. Falls the Shadow is spearheaded by American Ballet Theatre (ABT) principal Daniil Simkin, with new choreography by Alejandro Cerrudo, and projection design by Dmitrij Simkin.   

Ballet Hispanico will perform at Jacob's Pillow Dance Festival at the Ted Shawn Theater, 358 George Carter Road, Becket, MA 01223, from July 26-30, 2017 with performances Today-Saturday at 8pm; Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday at 2pm. Tickets are $45-78 and are available at www.jacobspillow.org/events/ballet-hispanico/.

Juilliard Dance, entering its 66th season, opens its new season in December with New Dances: Edition 2017 featuring four world-premiere dances by up-and-coming choreographers Bryan Arias(first-year class), Gentian Doda (second-year class),Roy Assaf (third-year class), and Gustavo Ramirez Sansano (fourth-year class).

Hubbard Street Dance Chicago, under the artistic direction of Glenn Edgerton, announces today, programming for Season 39 Summer Series, June 8-11, 2017 at the Harris Theater for Music and Dance. The program features a look at Hubbard Street through the decades, featuring The 40s and Georgia by Lou Conte, Twyla Tharp's The Golden Section, an excerpt from Resident Choreographer, Alejandro Cerrudo's One Thousand Pieces as well as pieces by Jim Vincent, Crystal Pite, William Forsythe, and Lucas Crandall.

Hubbard Street Dance Chicago and Artistic Director Glenn Edgerton are excited to announce the main company's 2017-18 season performances in Chicago celebrating the company's 40 year history. Tickets to the three engagements at the Harris Theater for Music and Dance in Millennium Park located at 205 East Randolph Street, and a fourth performance at the Auditorium Theatre, located at 50 E Congress Pkwy, will be available to subscribers for renewal beginning April 13 as a Season 40 subscription; Season 40 subscriptions and single tickets will be available for purchase following the Season 39 Summer Series, June 8-11, 2017.
