Writers' Theatre Artistic Director Michael Halberstam and Executive Director Kathryn M. Lipuma announce the second extension of Oh Coward!, words and music by Noel Coward, devised by Roderick Cook. The production, which began its run in November 2009 is directed by Jim Corti, with musical direction by Doug Peck. The production has been extended through April 18, 2010, at Writers' Theatre, 664 Vernon Avenue in Glencoe.

Directed by Melody Brooks, performances of Hamlet run May 13 through 23, 2010 at Shetler Studios' Theatre 54 (244 West 54th St., 12th Floor).

Parsons Dance presents two short evenings as part of the company's 10th annual Summer Intensive Workshop for professional and pre-professional dancers. The performances are produced in collaboration with the company's education partners, Marymount Manhattan College and Manhattan Movement and Arts Center, and will feature performances of the acclaimed works: Wolfgang (2005), Hand Dance (2003), Caught (1981), Swing Shift (2003) and Ebben, an excerpt from the dance/rock opera Remember Me (2009).

John Guare To Serve As Judge For Yale Drama Series

Horn Foundation, the distinguished, award-winning playwright John Guare will serve as judge for the Yale Drama Series for three years - 2011, 2012 and 2013. Ms Horn said, 'What an honor for the Foundation and the Series that John Guare will be our next judge. The job is mammoth and he embraces it with joy and enthusiasm.'
