The festival caters to audiences of all ages, specifically reaching out to the children of Brooklyn by offering face painting and mask making in addition to other art projects before presenting classic scenes from many of Shakespeare's best-known works. The festival starts at 1pm today, August 3, in Owl's Head Park (use the 68 street entrance) in Brooklyn.

Azuka Theatre's 14th Season begins with the Philadelphia Premiere of Dutch Masters by Greg Keller. The show is set to run as part of the Neighborhood Fringe in the 2013 Fringe Arts Festival September 11 - 22, 2013; Opening Night is Saturday, September 14 at 7 p.m. Tickets cost $20-$25 and are available online at www.fringearts.com or at the Fringe Box Office. New Line Theatre, 'the Bad Boy of Musical Theatre,' created a side identity last season called New Line Theatre Off Line, a framework for the New Line actors to explore other music and theatre projects, including New Line's own unique brand of adult cabaret, and other kinds of performance opportunities, as well as master classes, workshops, and more. New Line actor Mike Dowdy (Forbidden Planet, Spelling Bee, The Wild Party, Evita, Two Gentlemen of Verona, bare, Cry-Baby, High Fidelity, Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson) heads up the Off Line brand under his title of New Line's Associate Artistic Director.

The producers of I Forgive You, Ronald Reagan, the new play by John S. Anastasi, in which the present is on a collision course with the past, present the limited Off-Broadway run this summer. Directed by Charles Abbott, performances began at The Beckett Theatre (410 West 42nd Street - between 9th & 10th Aves.) on Monday, July 15. Opening Night is set for tonight, Tuesday, July 30 at 7:00 p.m. The show is scheduled to play through August 25th.

Second Thought Theatre announced today cast and creative team of the final production in its ninth season, In a Forest, Dark and Deep by Neil LaBute. Director Regan Adair returns to STT for the first time since 2011's critical hit, Red Light Winter. In a Forest, Dark and Deep will run in previews August 9 - 10, 2013.
