The Edge Theatre Company is proud to present John Guare's 'The House of Blue Leaves' in their new home at 1560 Teller Street in Lakewood, a partnership with 40 West Arts District, on July 19 - August 11. RareMedia Productions has announced the world premiere of Judgment Day, a new comedy by Maria S. Schlatter, starring Donald Corren (Souvenir, Old Jews Telling Jokes) whom The New York Times calls 'a chameleonic wonder' as part of this summer's New York International Fringe Festival. Performances begin August 9th (playing through August 25th) at The Players Theatre (115 MacDougal Street). Michael Schwartz directs.

The producers of I Forgive You, Ronald Reagan, the new play by John S. Anastasi, in which the present is on a collision course with the past, are pleased to announce the cast and creative team for a limited Off-Broadway run this summer. Directed by Charles Abbott, performances will begin at The Beckett Theatre (410 West 42nd Street - between 9th & 10th Aves.) today, July 15. Opening Night is set for Tuesday, July 30 at 7:00 p.m. The show is scheduled to play through August 25th.

New Line Theatre, 'the Bad Boy of Musical Theatre,' created a side identity last season called New Line Theatre Off Line, a framework for the New Line actors to explore other music and theatre projects, including New Line's own unique brand of adult cabaret, and other kinds of performance opportunities, as well as master classes, workshops, and more. New Line actor Mike Dowdy (Forbidden Planet, Spelling Bee, The Wild Party, Evita, Two Gentlemen of Verona, bare, Cry-Baby, High Fidelity, Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson) heads up the Off Line brand under his title of New Line's Associate Artistic Director.

Jason Rabinowitz, Christina Sajous, Jennifer Sanchez and Frederick Weller will join the previously announced Renee Elise Goldsberry in I'm Getting My Act Together and Taking It on the Road, the final Encores! Off-Center presentation of the 2013 season, playing for five performances, July 24 - 27. The show will be directed and choreographed byKathleen Marshall, with music direction by Chris Fenwick. Jeanine Tesori is the Encores! Off-Center artistic director. In keeping with City Center's founding mission to make the arts accessible to all and to attract younger audiences, the majority of tickets are $25.

Coastal Repertory Theatre enters into the 'Age of Aquarius' with what the New York Times calls 'The Ultimate American Rock Musical', HAIR -- written by James Rado & Gerome Ragni and produced for the Broadway Stage by Michael Butler, originally produced by the New York Shakespeare Festival Theatre. This production is directed and choreographed by Joe Duffy with musical and vocal direction by Joseph Murphy. The show runs July 19, 2013 through August 10, 2013.
