Ghostlight Records has proclaimed November 24, 2009 - the official release date of the GLORY DAYS Original Broadway Cast Recording - ‘Glory Day' in honor of the show's history-making run at Broadway's Circle in the Square Theatre last season. The GLORY DAYS CD is now available for pre-order at http://sh-k-boom.com/glory_days_broadway.shtml and will also be available for digital download on iTunes on Glory Day.

The New York Musical Theatre Festival, Van Hill Entertainment and Time Life Records presenedt the pre-release and listening party for the upcoming cast album of Off-Broadway's ROOMS a rock romance, on Wednesday, October 14 at 8:30pm. The party was be at Sweet Carolines (322 West 45th Street) and showcased live performances from the musical's stars, Leslie Kritzer and Doug Kreeger.

Fresh from the January 2009 inaugural working-visit to South Africa, the new not-for-profit Broadway in South Africa announces its Second Annual Benefit Concert. This star-studded evening will feature a guest performance by South African hit recording artist and producer Sipho 'Hotstix' Mabuse. Like the first, this concert will also feature world-premiere songs created by Broadway and New York composers, like Jeff Bowen, performed by Broadway stars like Shoshana Bean and Eden Espinosa. Through the support of honorary chairs and board members, like award-winning singer-songwriter-actress Deborah Cox, this benefit concert will raise awareness of and celebrate the work Broadway in South Africa does to provide artistic and educational opportunities for underprivileged youth. The concert will take place on Monday, October 5, 2009, at 7:30 p.m. at Peter Norton Symphony Space, located at 2537 Broadway at 95th Street. VIP guests will enjoy pre- and post-concert events.

Ars Nova announces upcoming events for the month of August, including Remember the Time: The Music of Michael Jackson, Showgasm, and Break of Reality.

The entire original cast will return for the album, they head into the studio starting today, July 2nd. The cast recording is anticipated for release later this year.

Glory Days, the musical by Nick Blaemire and James Gardiner, will receive an original cast album over a year after it closed on Broadway. The album of Glory Days, which closed after its opening night performance, will be distributed by Friends of Ghostlight, an extension of Sh-K-Boom and Ghostlight Records.
