Kurt Peterson & Victoria Mallory Reunite in WHEN EVERYTHING WAS POSSIBLE Concert, 4/29

James William Productions and Stephenie Skyllas will present Kurt Peterson and Victoria Mallory in 'When Everything Was Possible, A Concert (with comments),' for one night only, Sunday April 29th (7:30pm) at New York City Center (131 West 55th Street, between 6th and 7th Avenues), as a benefit for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS. They will be joined by a thirteen-piece band (Michael Rafter, Music Director), playing new orchestrations by Tony Award winner Jonathan Tunick. Larry Moss directs, with musical staging by Joshua Bergasse ("Smash"). Carolyn Wong will provide lighting design, with sound design by Leon Rothenberg and projection design by Telegraphicmedia.

Just in time for spring, Rep audiences are invited to 'ease on down the road' with one of Broadway's most popular musicals! This funky musical adaptation of L. Frank Baum's beloved classic 'The Wonderful Wizard of Oz' explodes onstage with Dorothy, her friends and her little dog too, in a vibrant fusion of '70s rock and Motown melodies. The production will play March 9 through April 1.

MGM Will Handle Me-TV's National Distribution

Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Studios Inc. (MGM) and Weigel Broadcasting Co. announced today plans for the national launch of Me-TV, a television network offering classic television sitcoms, dramas and classic commercials and targeted for digital broadcast stations, it was announced today by Jim Packer, co-President, MGM Worldwide Television and Norman H. Shapiro, President of Weigel Broadcasting.

The lights have barely dimmed on Alliance Theater's production of Twist, Debbie Allen's New Orleans 1928 rendition of the Charles Dickens' classic, and the director/choreographer has already announced the Premier of The Hot Chocolate Nutcracker, her hilarious and culturally rich take on the perennial holiday classic.

The 6th Annual Suzi Bass Awards Presented Nov. 8th

The Suzi Bass Awards, Inc. announced nominations for the 2009-2010 Atlanta professional theatrical season this evening to an enthusiastic crowd of patrons and theatre industry artists. Guest announcers LaLa Cochran, Bart Hansard, and Anthony Rodriquez joined Suzi Awards Executive Director Deadra Moore in sharing the list of Nominees while playfully riffing on the 2009/2010 Atlanta theatre season.
