Pianist Simone Dinnerstein, Artistic Director of the Neighborhood Classics concert series at public schools in New York has announced the concert schedule for the 2011-2012 season.

Long Wharf Theatre, under the director of Artistic Director Gordon Edelstein and Interim Managing Director Joshua Borenstein, presents the Tony Award-winning musical Ain't Misbehavin' on the Mainstage from Oct. 26 through Nov. 20.

Ben Davis, David Perlman and Charlie Brady will be featured in a developmental reading of the new dramatic musical The Pigeon Boys, by Anne Berlin & Andrew Bleckner, directed by Valentina Fratti as part of the New York Musical Theatre Festival, September 30th at TBG.

The legendary choreographer/dancer/theatre director Donald Saddler was awarded the Duke Ellington Center for the Arts' 1st Annual Duke Ellington 'Beyond Category' Award at a special tribute performance last night (Monday, June 13, 2011) in Merkin Concert Hall at the Elaine Kaufman Center in New York City. Last night, May 23, the 2011 Drama Desk Awards Ceremony took place at the Hammerstein Ballroom in Manhattan. The Book of Mormon, Anything Goes, War Horse and The Normal Heart were the night's big winners, with favorites Sutton Foster, Norbert Leo Butz, Bobby Cannavale, Frances McDormand, Laura Benanti, John Larroquette, Brian Bedford and Edie Falco taking home the evening's top performance honors.
