The Garth Brooks World Tour with Trisha Yearwood has sold over 107,000 tickets for Joe Louis Arena, home of the Detroit Red Wings. This breaks Garth's previous Michigan record of 103,458 tickets sold. The previous record was set May 8 - May 12 1996, at The Palace in Auburn Hills over five shows. Tickets for all six shows at Joe Louis Arena are still selling.

This holiday season, Disney will put a “Frozen” twist on its 31st annual Christmas Day telecast, appropriately renamed the “Disney Parks Frozen Christmas Celebration,” airing Christmas morning THURSDAY, DECEMBER 25, 2014 (10:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m., ET; airtimes vary; check local listings in your market) on the ABC Television Network. Robin Roberts, co-anchor of ABC's “Good Morning America,” will host the reimagined television special inspired by the blockbuster hit's message of uniting family and loved ones. Roberts will lead the telecast from Walt Disney World Resort in Florida with support from Tim Tebow, GMA Contributor and ESPN and SEC Network analyst.
Earlier today it ws announced that Side Show will close at the St James Theatre in January, and according to the New York Times, Something Rotten! might takeover the space. A New York City developmental lab was held this fall, under the direction of Casey Nicholaw. Leading the cast (of the Lab, and not necessarily future productions) were Christian Borle, John Cariani, Allen Fitzpatrick, Brian d'Arcy James, Beth Leavel, Brad Oscar, Kate Reinders, Jeff Steizter, and Gerry Vichi.
