This summer is going to jailhouse rock as you dance to your favorite Elvis songs in ALL SHOOK UP, you can't help falling in love with this jukebox musical; followed by BILLY & RAY which tells the behind the scenes story of Raymond Chandler and Billy Wilder as they nearly kill each other making 'Double Indemnity', directed by Michael Matthews; the new year starts with the unexpected love storyCHAPATTI; Hershey Felder returns as master pianist TCHAIKOVSKY; then another musical genius hits our stage with the world premiere musical KING OF THE ROAD: THE ROGER MILLER STORY, directed by Andrew Barnicle; and we complete our season with the extraordinary THE ABSOLUTE BRIGHTNESS OF LEONARD PELKEY. Add in a special engagement from Lythgoe Family Productions of SLEEPING BEAUTY and her WINTER KNIGHT Panto and you have one of the finest seasons in our nearly 100 year history!

HERSHEY FELDER AS IRVING BERLIN Comes to The Town Hall This June

The story and music of America's Composer come to life on stage when The Town Hall presents HERSHEY FELDER AS IRVING BERLIN, a new play with music written and performed by award-winning actor and musician Hershey Felder (Broadway's George Gershwin Alone, Maestro Bernstein). Directed by Trevor Hay, HERSHEY FELDER AS IRVING BERLIN plays one night only, Monday, June 6 at 8PM at The Town Hall (123 West 43rd Street).

San Diego REP's 2016-17 Season to Feature World Premieres & More

Tonight, San Diego REP hosted their Season 41 announcement party, where company leadership announced the 2016-2017 lineup featuring two world premiere plays with music, with books by Hershey Felder and by Todd Salovey, respectively; two world premiere plays by Herbert Siguenza and Karen Zacarias, respectively; the 2013 Pulitzer Prize winner for drama; one of the most produced plays in America; and the plans for a newly renovated lobby and seating area of the Stage theatre.

THE PIANIST OF WILLESDEN LANE Adds Performance at St. James Theatre

?An additional performance, on Wednesday 24 February at 2.30pm, has been added to the otherwise sold-out run of The Pianist of Willesden Lane to meet the overwhelming demand for tickets. The play with live piano music, which opened earlier this month to critical acclaim, must finish on Saturday 27 February.

Wareham and Hershey Felder Presents are thrilled to announce the fourth show in the Laguna Playhouse 2015-2016 season, Tony Award-winner Anthony Crivello and Vanessa Claire Stewart starring in LOUIS & KEELY: 'LIVE' AT THE SAHARA, written by Vanessa Stewart, Taylor Hackford & Jake Broder, choreography by Vernel Bagneris and directed by Taylor Hackford.  "Our subscribers and audiences are about the have the time of their lives as we transport them to 1950's Las Vegas and beyond and the incomparable song-stylings of Louis Prima and Keely Smith," says Wareham. LOUIS & KEELY: 'LIVE' AT THE SAHARA will begin previews on Wednesday, February 24; will open on Saturday, February 27 and will run through Sunday, March 27, 2016 at the Laguna Playhouse, 606 Laguna Canyon Road in Laguna Beach.

What do you give the person who has everything? For Irving Berlin, the answer was a song. According to Hershey Felder, the composer wrote for "the people" - in some cases, specifically for his wife and children. Perhaps Felder had the same audience in mind when he wrote his one-man show, "Irving Berlin." Just under two hours long with no intermission, the robust production is an incomparable gift in itself.

TheatreWorks Silicon Valley kicks off the New Year with the regional premiere of Hershey Felder as Irving Berlin, a brand new work by acclaimed performer/playwright/director Hershey Felder. The inspiring story of "America's Composer" Irving Berlin takes center stage in this tour-de-force performance by virtuoso Hershey Felder, internationally acclaimed for bringing to life such composers as Gershwin, Beethoven, Chopin, and Bernstein. Fleeing the anti-Semitism of Czarist Russia, capturing the rhythms of the Lower East Side, and eventually enchanting the entire world, Berlin epitomized the American dream. Hershey Felder as Irving Berlin will be directed by Trevor Hay with performances January 13 - February 14, 2016 (press opening: January 16) at the Mountain View Center for the Performing Arts, 500 Castro Street, Mountain View. Hershey Felder as Irving Berlin will now begin performances on Friday October 30th, 2015 in Felder's Chicago theatrical home, the Royal George Theatre , 1641 N. Halsted Street, Chicago. Having broken all box office records in its World Premiere at Los Angeles' Geffen Playhouse, Hershey Felder as Irving Berlin makes its Midwest Premiere in a strictly limited pre-NYC and continuing National Tour engagement. The British import I FOUND MY HORN was originally scheduled for this presentation slot.  However, due to scheduling issues across the pond, I FOUND MY HORN will now appear in the spring slot at the Royal George Theatre.
