Trying to grow understanding in any kind of relationship is difficult, especially when it's hard to relate from the beginning,' says shredder and vocalist Emma Hoeflinger of the song's meaning. 'That's why empathy has always and will always be at the forefront of situations I put myself in. Trying to put yourself where others are mentally and emotionally gives you insight into what it's like to be outside of yourself. 'Known for filling his verses with abstractions, 'Real Tight' finds Webb making things plain and simple 'I cannot lie/ I don't feel right,' he sings on the track's chorus, a simple plea that's striking in how forward it is, compared to earlier Methyl Ethel songs.' Triage marks the Perth, Australia band's third album. It was written, produced and performed by lead singer Jake Webb, mixed by Marta Salogni and mastered by Heba Kadry. The album was recorded in Webb's home studio in West Perth and is available for pre-order today.
