This Tuesday in New York City, Circus Road Films and Theatricals & Big Head Productions will present an invite-only reading of a new play The Poets of Amityville by Eugene Pack.

Rubicon Theatre Company's 2015-2016 season continues with the American premiere of THE MAN WHO SHOT LIBERTY VALANCE by Jethro Compton. Adapted from the short story by Dorothy M. Johnson that also inspired the legendary John Ford 1962 film, THE MAN WHO SHOT LIBERTY VALANCE is a classic tale of love, honor, ambition and revenge set against the backdrop of the American West.

HBO will deubt CONFIRMATION on SATURDAY, APRIL 16 at 8:00 p.m. (ET/PT). Check out the trailer for the film below!

BroadwayWorld is happy to report that some of the brightest talents of Broadway are joining the cast of this year's BROADWAY BACKWARDS, BC/EFA's annual celebration where gays and lesbians experience their stories as told through the great songs of musical theatre and performed by their favorite Broadway stars.

Producing Artistic Director Steve Stettler has announced a summer line-up of Broadway blockbusters, Vermont premieres, and ground-breaking partnerships, with the appearance of major stars on Weston's stages. The film details the explosive 1991 Clarence Thomas Supreme Court nomination hearings, which brought the country to a standstill and forever changed the way we think about sexual harassment, victims' rights and modern-day race relations.

In anticipation of its 80th performance season, Weston Playhouse Theatre Company plans to launch 'Weston 101' in February 2016. This groundbreaking educational program will bring the excitement of the summer productions into the off-season with a series of Thursday evening classes held at Burr and Burton Academy's Manchester VT campus AND broadcast via live-stream to participants' laptops and home computers.

The Fulton Theatre kicks off the holiday season with the musical comedy and treat for the entire family, Elf, November 17th through January 3rd. As 'Buddy' says in the script, 'The best way to spread Christmas cheer is singing loud for all to hear,' there are many joyful tunes throughout the production, including 'SparkleJollyTwinkleJingley,' 'A Christmas Song,' 'The Story of Buddy the Elf,' and more!

A staged reading of SHARPIES - A New Comedy by Eugene Pack, was held as part of Guild Hall's Staged Reading Series in East Hampton on Thursday, August 20th. It starred Matthew Broderick, Blythe Danner, Susan Lucci, Carol Kane, Dayle Reyfel, Sawyer Spielberg, Treat Williams, Chloe Dirksen and Christian Scheider.
