Official Launch Of The Hope Street Theatre, Liverpool

Liverpool's newest theatrical space The Hope Street Theatre will officially open its doors on Sunday 23 September, 2018 at 5pm at an Invitation only gala event. The launch will include talks from Liverpool celebrity Joe McGann alongside Blood Brothers actor, director and producer Daniel Taylor. Nick Rogers and Sam Donovan, The Hope Street Theatre's Chief Executive and Artistic Director will also talk about their vision for the space. The launch event will also see a number of live performances including Adam McCoy and the Performers Choir, Rare Choir, Grace Galloway and musical excerpts performed by the casts of Aladdin and Long Joan Silver. This will then be followed by an opening night party at the newly renamed Hope Street Theatre Cocktail Bar (Formally the Masonic Bar)
Ovalhouse Announces Autumn Season

In a unique collaborative programme, Ovalhouse's autumn season brings together an outstanding collection of six new shows plus seven FiRST BiTES that, for the first time, are all co- produced in-house by Ovalhouse. This season's pertinent theme of care highlights both the theatre's enduring passion for nurturing emerging artists - every production in this season started its life at Ovalhouse - as well as the way all of the plays deal with how we care for one another.

Latitude Festival is pleased to announce a diverse range of new names added to the line up across the arts stages, joining headliners Harry Hill, and Bridget Christie, as well as music headliners The Killers, Alt-J, and Solange. The 13th edition of the festival takes place on Thursday 12th - Sunday 15th July 2018 in the stunning grounds of Henham Park, Suffolk. Tickets are available here.

Derek Jarman's iconic film has been adapted to the stage by Chris Goode; centring around a marauding girl gang on a killing spree and a time-travelling Queen Elizabeth 1 - telling a story of what happens when creativity and nihilism collide.
