Known for her vocal impressions, Bianco will certainly entertain audiences this week-end.

Tina Friml grew up in Middlebury, and though her parents were involved in local theater she never considered herself a performer - until she took a class in stand-up comedy.  Two-and-a-half years later, she's been voted Vermont's Funniest Comedian.

Just last night, Roundabout Theatre Company presented its 2019 Gala evening celebrating John Lithgow with The Jason Robards Award for Excellence in Theatre.

Currently celebrating its 40th Anniversary Season, Second Stage Theater (Carole Rothman, President and Artistic Director; Casey Reitz, Executive Director) will welcome two new Associate Artistic Directors to the staff. Beginning next month, Christie Evangelisto and Bennett Leak will join the artistic staff of the acclaimed company, working under 2ST President and Artistic Director Carole Rothman. A third Associate Artistic Director will be named in the coming weeks.

Asolo Rep continues its celebration of 60 years on stage with Tony Award-winner Michael Frayn's rip-roaringly hilarious play NOISES OFF, one of the most celebrated farces of all time. Directed by comedic Broadway veteran Don Stephenson, NOISES OFF previews March 20 and 21, opens March 22 and runs through April 20 in rotating repertory in the Mertz Theatre, located in the FSU Center for the Performing Arts.

Tracy Letts, award winning actor, playwriter and screenwriter will accept the 2019 'Actor of the Year' Award in New York this coming April. Among his many accomplishments in theatre and film, Tracy Letts received the 2008 Pulitzer Prize for Drama for his play August Osage County and a Tony for his portrayal of George in the revival of Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf on Broadway. As an active member of Steppenwolf Theatre Company, Letts has left an indelible mark on the global theatre community.

The Raymond F. Kravis Center for the Performing Arts has announced its 2019 summer programming schedule, with a variety of exciting options for students ages 9-21.

The Manhattan Association of Cabarets (MAC) has announced the 2019 MAC Award nominees. The nominees, in a majority of the categories, were determined by votes cast by the active MAC membership. Special committees selected the nominees in the Ensemble Instrumentalist, Piano Bar Instrumentalist, Piano Bar Singing Entertainer (Female; Male), Recording (LaMott Friedman), Major Recording, Song and Comedy/Novelty Song categories.

Lookingglass Theatre Company presents the world premiere of Act(s) of God, by Ensemble Member Kareem Bandealy, directed by Ensemble Member Heidi Stillman. Act(s) of God runs February 13-April 7, 2019 at Lookingglass Theatre Company, located inside Chicago's historic Water Tower Water Works, 821 N. Michigan Ave. at Pearson. The press performances are February 22 and February 23 at 7:30 p.m.

Azuka Theatre presents the return of the Virginia & Harvey Kimmel New Professionals Production with the Philadelphia Premiere of BOB: A Life in Five Acts by Peter Sinn Nachtrieb. BOB chronicles the highly unusual life of Bob and his lifelong quest to become a 'Great Man.'

The Academy of Country Music announced today the nominees for the 54TH ACADEMY OF COUNTRY MUSIC AWARDS, Country Music's Party of the Year®, honoring country music's superstars and hottest emerging talent. The Sauk, Hillsdale County's community theatre, is thrilled to announce the cast for the upcoming production of 'The Laramie Project.' The play will be presented for four performances only, March 28-31.

The Madison Square Garden Company (NYSE: MSG) and the Garden of Dreams Foundation announced today that comedian Iliza Shlesinger has joined the lineup of Garden of Laughs, presented by Delta Air Lines. Shlesinger joins a celebrated lineup that will include performances by Jerry Seinfeld along withBill Burr, Michael Che, John Mulaney, Brian Regan and Jon Stewart. The 2019 Garden of Laughs will be hosted by Steve Schirripa and will take place at the Hulu Theater at Madison Square Garden on Tuesday, April 2, 2019 at 8:00 p.m., with all net proceeds going directly to Garden of Dreams.
